Indiana Jones. That's what it should be. Animation Courtyard needs attention and the park would benefit from replacing a couple of the musical shows. But a full-fledged Indy land is the next logical step for the park after Galaxy's Edge.

Because Disney don't like adding new attractions if they can get away with it, they'd much rather replace existing ones. Even when it's a mistake to do so. I can only speak for myself but I'm usually at WDW in September/October/November time and I rarely saw GMR at less than a 30 minute wait...

It didn't fail. It's a bona-fide classic that could have done with a refresh over the years. Some might not have liked it as much as others did, but the Great Movie Ride was in no way a failure of any kind.

Read through posts on the previous page and you'll see that I didn't use that term myself. I was quoting another poster who did use it to, true to form, mischaracterise and distort the fair and reasonable opinions that others had expressed about this project.

Thanks, I suspected as much. So hardly an "investment" that proves that the lastest news/developments (or "doom predictions") about this project are in any way innacurate.

In claiming that Disney is "investing in a preview center", would that mean in this case that they are just using the Odyssey building to display some concept art, maybe a model or two?

I agree, as I said Disney clearly are not beholden to maintaining any kind of thematic cohesion when it comes to this area of Epcot now so it doesn't really matter either way.

You nailed it. It doesn't matter as Disney clearly could not care less what does and does not belong in Epcot. A random Moana-themed water feature/playground pretty much sums up the current direction of the park.

I don't think it's a case of the family having or needing any sort of control in a decision like that, more the company respecting their wishes. Regardless, I don't think we'll see a Walt Disney AA at Carousel of Progress, or any other attraction.

It's awful. Those films make Chicken Little look like Fantasia or Pinocchio. Even in it's supposed "dark ages", WDAS' output is infinitely better than Ice Age.
