I think y’all underestimate it. It’s been a core part of the castle park’s identity for 70 years. Splash Mountain has been a core part of that identity for 30 years. People don’t like seeing beloved elements of their childhood change so drastically and rapidly. It would be one thing to shorten...

It’s a relatively easy change to make that wins them some favour back from the fans. Though I’m not sure how stupid they think we are to completely forget what’s going on in the area formerly known as “Frontierland”.

If they redo the dialogue and bring in a new voice cast…they really should bring in Rex Allen Jr as the voice of the dad. He (naturally) has a similar voice to his father. It would be a great tribute.

I feel like there’s almost no chance of this, unless they go the Ai route. That final scene is for sure changing. The question is…to what? Will it be a return to the original Progress City ending? Or will it be something new entirely? And if it’s the former…will they bring back the original show...

I wonder if Splash Mountain would’ve still been in this bracket had it stuck around at WDW? Certainly it wouldn’t have gone out first like it’s lacklustre replacement. Anyways, Rise is long overdue for elimination. Quality ride, but it’s easily skippable and far from a classic.

Everything about this looks great. My only gripe is with the voice direction of the parrot (animatronic itself is fantastic). Wish they put this level of effort into their rides.

SSE eliminated before ROTR and CW is nuts. Anyways, it’s high time Rise took a hike.

The ride itself is pretty mediocre. Everything surrounding it (namely the queue) is great. It’s a fine addition. Casuals do like it, though I feel they would love it even more if the execution was stronger.

Because most of their projects suck. They had one or two strong ones towards the early tenure, then petered off with a string of stinkers. To add insult to injury, the strong projects were the ones they usually had less input on.

Likewise, and I’ve confused the two before 🤣
