We have gone to WDW Halloween week for the past 3 years and have never had an issue. Sure its busy but absolutely manageable if you plan correctly. We stay away from Epcot on Sat and Sun (because of F&W crowds)but other than that our park schedule isnt too strategic. The weather is WONDERFUL...

Sigh....i am so torn between being excited for necessary "newness" and being nostalgic for what once was ...

I love the Echo Lake area. The water "features" of the Disney parks have always been some of my favorite spots. I would hate to see it cemented over but i do realize that by paving that area it gives TDO a bit more flexibility with regards to the hub and the ultimate direction they can take DHS...

That's why I tune in daily!!!

An Indiana Jones land off the Echo lake area would be my preference...i would leave the GMR, flesh out Animation courtyard with the Mickey ride and some other things...how amazing that park could be...sigh

We were there in Oct and that was my thought exactly...

I went this November and Dinosaurs rehab was extended, Big Thunders refurb was pushed forward and Rock n Rollercoaster was down for a surprise 9 day refurb...all of this announced just a couple months and or weeks before my trip....so even looking at the refurb schedule is only a guide at...

It would be a shame if they go through with this move. There is plenty of expansion room for new attractions. I agree that GMR needs some updating, but nothing bank breaking/major imho. I think having a center attraction based on classic movies in a theme park that will still be based on movies...

Agreed that if we didnt have our three neices with us it probably wouldnt have even been a thought...plus, we were away for 9 days (7 park days) so we definitely got maximum value out of it.

Threw it in the bottom of the stroller...lol...we had my nieces with us (9,6 and 2)....saved us a bundle...and they loved it!!

We got refills in different parks...purchased in MK...used in MK, AK and HS...dont think we used it in Epcot...

We did it last week....we were there for 9 days....it was great!!!

Thank you both for the advise...both resorts looked fairly large so having longer walks makes sense...and i definitely agree about POFQ...its our favorite too!!
