Pixar overlay of Universe of Energy - Supply me a rope?

I'm not sure why today's little kids always need to be catered to with with Pixar characters. When I was little, I loved Universe of Energy. I still think the giant room with the dinosaurs is sweet. And the Bill Nye parts are so 1990s dated that they're still good for a couple chuckles each...

    Has StormStruck struck?

Hmmm - 3D glasses and being sprayed with water? Don't they already pull this same stunt at Tough to be a Bug and Philharmagic? :animwink: I'm actually relieved to hear that it's not little kid-oriented. Too much of that is what killed the Living Seas.

question on something at Pop century

Not sure when they stopped making them, but they didn't have the Twinkie Tiramisu or the Tie-dyed Cheesecake when I went this past May. Yet, they still had ads for these items in the elevators at Pop.

Yeah, I suppose the Mexican wouldn't really fit. Plot: The basic plot of the ride would be an earthquake cracks open the Money Bin sending Scrooge's cash down into the caverns. Guests must board mine cars to enter the caverns, find the cash, and escape the Terry Firmies who caused the quake...

You get to make a Magic Kingdom ride and resturant.

Ride: DuckTales/Duckburg mine car roller coaster - The building housing the ride would be Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin. The mine cars would careen through underground caverns in the land of the Terry Firmies trying to locate Scrooge's lost money, which was sucked underground by an earthquake...

    Favorite & least favorite resorts...

Favorites (in no particular order): Pop Century - The theming is sweet and the lake is really nice. I especially love the 80s buildings. The food court is tops next to Riverside's. I only wish they'd finish Phase II. Riverside - I love the backwoods feel in the bayou section + the food court...

Expedition Everest...I just don't get it!

Expedition Everest is tops on my list. I don't see how the part where you wait to go backwards is boring. It's meant to leave you in suspense as your train is about to careen off the side of the mountain. My favorite part is the backwards part because it feels like you're being sucked inside...

    Journey into Imagination #4???

I saw Wonders of Life opened up for the Flower & Garden this May - it was pretty weird walking inside and not heading over to go do Body Wars. Apparently, it also opens up for the Food & Wine Festival according to this: http://www.lostepcot.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11 Sorry about the...

    Gargamel figure at Germany pavilion

For the longest time, there were small PVC Gargamel figures (from "The Smurfs") at Germany at Epcot. I finally decided to buy one on my last trip in May but there were none in the store! There were a few Smurf houses but no Gargamel! Has anyone seen Gargamel there recently, or is he...
