the glass monument thing in front of Spaceship Earth

I'm pretty sure that the monument wasn't taken down until the big refurb of that area in 1999. I was there in summer 1998 and would have remembered if the monument was suddenly gone. In the 1997 copywrite picture, the fountain base is still the same one that went with the monument (not the new...

    Rarest disney characters

That's a cool site - Don Carnage would have been a really neat character to get a picture taken with.

    Rarest disney characters

They had a Gizmoduck - the only problem was that whenever a guest said "Blathering Blatherskites," the costume would get sucked off the cast member and go on the guest. ;)

    Rarest disney characters

I'm thinking that Scrooge and the nephews probably made rounds back when Toontown Fair was Birthdayland/Starland since it was set in Duckburg (I don't remember seeing them when I was there back then, but it'd make sense). They probably made rounds at Disneyland's Toontown in the early 90s too. I...

    Rarest disney characters

Uncle Scrooge and the nephews top my rare characters list. Oddly enough, I've seen Launchpad quite a few times just outside the DAK entrance. I heard one parent comment to her kid, "oh look, it's Donald in a pilot suit" :hammer: Character that I see all too often: the infamous Gepetto

    GM and Test Track

I like Test Track a lot - quality ride with a good ride length (it's not over before you know it). I doubt that Test Track will be shut down. I do miss the Test Track dummies - do they ever come out anymore?

Why don't they use the island?

A LOST island would be sweet. I'd go there dressed up as the black smoke monster.

    Rebranding Pop Century?

I think the 00s-40s would be awsome! Just think of how cool Sunset Blvd. and Tower of Terror are themed to the 1930s/1940s, and how cool Main Street USA is themed to the 1900s. The theming would be so cool. I'd bet that one of the giant icons in the 20s section would be Steamboat Willie Mickey...

    Rebranding Pop Century?

But if they turned the legendary years side into the Animation Inn, then it really wouldn't be Pop "Century" anymore. They'd have to call the remaining classic side something like "Pop Half Century" or "Pop Decades x 5" :lookaroun It still doesn't make sense how pop culture wouldn't appeal...

    Rebranding Pop Century?

This article doesn't make any since. ".. rebranding all of Pop Century so that it then can become a new family-friendly Resort, Disney's Animation Inn and Suites." - Pop Century is already family-friendly ".. has never been able to maintain the same sort of steady high occupancy rate that...

The Sorcerer's Hat - Hollywood Studios

Disney's Hollywood Studios? I thought it was Hat Land USA, where you can ride the famous hat coaster and eat hat bread.

    Where's DuckTales Volume 4?

Why hasn't Disney released any info on the next volume of DuckTales or Darkwing or the other Disney Afternoon shows? Are they not going to release anymore?

    Ride Capacities

Outside of Wikipedia, the best I could find is some data from the old Living Seas here http://www.lostepcot.com/livingseascm.html near the bottom of that same page it also gives the queue line capacity

    Bring Back SMRT-1

Sounds like R2 on the Sail Barge in Return of the Jedi :) I was just looking at this page http://www.lostepcot.com/communicore.html - There used to be so much at Communicore. Too bad SMRT-1 was sold off like so many droids with bad motivators. ;)

I know you all do this.

You can't beat DuckTales! I even listen to the old NES DuckTales game music. I always like listening to the park music, especially the older albums. Also way up on my list is the opening theme from Rescuers Down Under that they used to play at the Epcot fountain.

    Star Wars 2.0???

The 80s safety video is classic cheese at its finest! About as cheesy as Luke saying he has to "go get some power converters" ;) I always thought it'd be cool if either the ride video changed up each time (like ToT's randomizer) or you could pick your ride video. Something with the feel of...
