DHS Fireworks and smoke direction In Galaxy Edge in DL and WDW

I can believe it. We were over by Launch Bay and they ushered us out and away when the did the big fireworks show a few years back,

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

I could be absolutely wrong but I doubt Disney will care initially if MMRR is open or not when GE opens. It's not going to drive people away from those first few weeks (months?) of making GE their destination. MMRR really will be the most effective after the initial hype dies down to spread...

DHS The future of Star Tours, Star Wars Launch Bay and Star Wars shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios

I always thought it would be cool if you land in Batuu on Star Tours and then exit to that area of the park. Like Star Tours is the bridge between the real world and a galaxy far, far away.

DHS Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disney's Hollywood Studios opening date

We were there that weekend too. Our usual time to go to WDW is first week of May but things came up that pushed it to the end of the month. First time I booked our trip completely clueless and not realizing it was Memorial Day weekend AND opening of Pandora. Still haven't been into Pandora since...

Perfect! I knew I felt like I wasn't covering all the bases.

DHS Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disney's Hollywood Studios opening date

There's a couple types of fans now in the world of social media: Nostalgic Entitlement: Nothing can be changed or innovated. Everything must maintain the status quo and only repeat the same things over and over. These people think they represent all of the fandom with their opinions...

DHS Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run - Ride/Queue Details and Discussion

For some it will hurt not having the core characters, just like for some having no Prequel characters will hurt. If you look at the logistics of it, Disney couldn't continue on the path or cranking out sequel after sequel to the Originals. Harrison is 77 this year, Mark will be 68 and Carrie has...

I especially like this since I applaud your profile avatar.

Best strolling option for a 4 & 6 year old

My two oldest boys are 4 and 2 and we used a Zoe Double stroller for them. Folds up fairly easy and only weighs 17 lbs, also it's side by side but fits in any standard door frame. The reason my wife and I liked it was that it reclines and the sunshade comes down quite far. Both boys have taken...

    New Refillable Mugs from 3/7/19

That's great. I remember I used to be excited about getting the mugs. Now when I see the shelves of them it reminds me too much of home.

    New Refillable Mugs from 3/7/19

I like them way better than the generic resort mugs they've been using the last decade plus. We only have a dozen of them littering various cabinets in the kitchen.

Right next to the Star Wars Holiday Special.

You can have any WDW meal/food item RIGHT NOW, no matter where you are. What is it?

POG juice, Citrus Swirl, Grand Marnier slush, VegitaBeta and Pecos Bill's burger and cheese fries from back in the day.

DHS Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I'm honestly surprised they haven't started charging. Universal was charging non-resort guests last time I was there (going on 5 years). I could see them start off by charging non-resort guests and then move to an additional upgrade like Park Hoppers.

DHS Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Would actually be cool if they had one of the bands from the movies play like the Modal Nodes or the Max Rebo Band.

DHS Any Bets on What Comes After Galaxy's Edge?

IIRC I thought that were wasn't going to be "out of universe" merchandise in Galaxy's Edge. Makes sense to keep Launch Bay/Tatooine Traders for awhile to sell the movie shirts and regular toys until they find a home for all of it.

    WDW with feeding tube?

My two year old has cystic fibrosis, so we have used the DAS. Two things I will add to this is that our was tied to the little one's Magic Band, so even though we didn't have to buy him a park pass, they used it for purposes of DAS. They scan his first and then ours since we're in his party...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Tron is one of my childhood favorites, so I'm really excited as well. Now if they could only redo the Tomorrowland Speedway so its not awful. Tron is going to look like it's taking its ugly cousin to prom next to it.

DHS Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Prequels are getting a lot of love lately as that generation has hit the full nostalgia age. Clone Wars returning, multiple novels, Battlefront 2 has turned into a soft Prequel game, etc. My biggest problem was the Prequels were just so poorly executed any attempt to make a good, coherent story...

DHS Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

If you're going to do full immersion, it makes absolute sense to do the Sequel Trilogy. It's going to be the youngest generation to experience Star Wars, so for some kids Kylo is their Darth Vader. While I would've loved to seen the Original Trilogy get its due, it is the 40 year old part of the...
