EPCOT Nemo ride to get Fastpass

Anyone remember the lines for the Living Seas in 1986? Stretched practically to Journey into Imagination. So it's getting Fastpass. I always picture it as Disney trying to fool some guests. "Hey, look, this ride has Fastpass, so it must be completely awesome!" Do they ever get complaints...

If you could bring back one ride

Without question the original Journey Into Imagination. It still remains a valued childhood memory for kids who visited in the 80s and 90s. I remember one of the biggest events in our apartment at college was the epic three-part South Park episode...based largely on Journey Into Imagination.

    Bringing snacks into parks

I also notice something strange about the water, especially its taste but also that its feels different to shower in. Could just be Disney's piping and well system. Disney's water comes from an underground aquifer and must be pumped up to the surface, while northeastern water is usually stored...

    AA Malfunctions

That Mr. Lincoln video is funny; apparently they had tons of problems with the original figure spazzing out before it opened in New York in 1964, though the tales of Lincoln performing obscene gestures while malfunctioning out are probably just urban legends. The Simpsons did a great parody...

    Oh no !!!

Considering how expensive it is and how hard it is to get a visa, those kids are themselves the upper middle/upper class brats of Brazil anyway. I really don't mind the tour groups anyway, at least they're having fun. I have to deal with tourists in New York every day, and believe me people...

New Dumbos is a hidden Mickey!

Bringing back the language one sentence at a time. Technically, the correct form of 'to be' shouldn't be used here anyway. Instead an active verb should be used, such as "New Dumbos form a hidden Mickey," or you can use a simile with another verb and say "New Dumbos look like a hidden Mickey"...

    Polynesian Lobby Smell

Hahahaha me too! There's a few other spots that have that so-bad-its-wonderful mildew smell at WDW too, but none of them beats that wafting stink of the Poly lobby.

    October Weather

The weather isn't too bad that time of year, but just hope the (aptly named in your case) lovebug swarms are either dead or declining before you get there.

'Man or Muppet' should win song Oscar....

The Best Song category only had two nominees! Kinda sad that the Academy doesn't really care about film song-writing anymore, especially with the history of the category.

Food Rocks AA costumes for sale

I can't remember where they were exactly, but I can swear I saw Mr. Hamm and Mr. Eggz (or props that looked just like them without their faces) in the old Easter Parade probably 10 or more years ago.

    What's your favorite secret??

I always thought that the ghosts came out because Leota summoned the ghosts out, after we've toured the house and the ghost host figured we weren't running away scared. That's why the ghosts are out partying in the dining room. Little Leota wouldn't ask us to make final arrangements and ghosts...

New pavilion. No attraction. Still want?

I think you mean Denmark and not the Netherlands. Denmark was supposed to be part of the Scandinavian pavilion with Norway and Sweden (I don't know if Finland was also involved). The Netherlands and Scandinavia don't have much in common other than a Germanic language.

    SpectroMagic being prepped for return..

Wow, that thing has been around since the 15th anniversary? I guess there's something to be said about being economical.

    favorite/least favorite disney queue

Most of the newer queues are pretty good: Tower of Terror, Everest, Pooh, and the new queues for It's a Small World and Space Mountain. Any queue built before about 1990, though, was terrible (excluding Pirates of the Caribbean, and I have a soft spot for the Great Movie Ride queue): -Most...

JetBlue - Ooooh, you so sneaky

I guess that since JetBlue hubs out of New York, they have to change flight times all the time to deal with effects from delays at JFK. When everything goes right, they're great, but when things go wrong...

    Southwest vs Jet Blue

I like JetBlue, and your kids can just watch tv the whole flight down. I liked Southwest too, but haven't flown them in years. I got tired of what I called the cattle stampede when they didn't have reserved seats. Are you flying out of Bradley or New York?

    SpectroMagic being prepped for return..

They only get a new parade when they figure out how to reuse that castle float that has been rolling down Main Street since 1996. This may be a dumb question, but where is SpectroMagic stored right now? The original Main Street Electrical Parade has been shuttled back and forth almost...

New pavilion. No attraction. Still want?

With or without an attraction, it doesn't matter if the pavilion is not multi-faceted and well-detailed. I can get lost in the Japanese pavilion, because of it is so engrossing. As for new country ideas, how about Turkey. I'd love to see some sort of replica of Hagia Sophia (yeah, it's...
