    Characters scheduled for Circusland

Wow, there's a blast from the past. If this was 1992, Launchpad probably would've been the marquee character for the Barnstormer.

    Tapestry of Nations route

They've tried quite a few things over/on the lagoon during the day, and none of them worked very well and/or no one really cared. Just like the abandoned stage behind the Fountain of Nations, the lagoon during the day is another example of current management not really knowing what to do...

    Back of Dumbo Building

The Speedway is even more incongruent than that; Disneyland's Autopia was at least the "highway of the future," while the Florida version has always been a Speedway, as in, a race track. I just wonder why this attraction never caught a case of 20,000 Leagues-itis, where Disney decides to shut it...

    Kodak Bankrupt

Kodak was simply not able to move into the future; they couldn't transition from film to digital, even though they were among the most innovative companies in the world a generation ago. It's sad to see George Eastman's company go this route, and I suppose he'll become even more forgotten...

Backstage Visibility Issues - Will they be addressed?

Once foliage grows in, most of these problems will be solved. I still think the Speedway is going to be mercifully put down at some point, so the Dumbo hvac won't matter. There are already a lot of terrible views from the Railroad, so it's really no big deal. And they'll find some way to fix the...

    20k Tribute?

Question is, will there be some sort of tribute to Mickey's Toontown Fair, beyond the recycled tents and Barnstormer?

Attractions that you love that no one likes

It depends on who's in there with you. I've been on it with a bunch of people in Yankees hats and it was quite a boisterous crowd. Took me a minute to realize at least a few of them must've seen the COP in New York (my mother loves the COP and sings loudly for that reason also) and have passed...

    Will Disney water-down Avatar?

We don't hunt poachers in the Safari any more because no one cared about that lame storyline and just wanted to see more animals. No one cares about the Dances With Wolves storyline of the first film, they just care about how cool the Pandora environment was. Hopefully they'll go that...

Attractions that you love that no one likes

Same here. The Swiss Family Treehouse is one of the best themed experiences in the park, and gets bonus points for being just about the last place in the Magic Kingdom that is essentially unchanged (thematically, at least, as it's been rebuilt a few times) since 1971. Still, it's hard to get a...

    Tigger's Bouncing Thing

Yeah, and a gem like Tom Sawyer Island would last all of a few weeks if it debuted today for the same reason.

    Disney Luxury Community

They already tried this in the 1970s, albeit on a different scale. It just screams of Disney offering a solution to a question nobody asked.

    Princess Castles

I'd guess that the princesses get top billing because they tend to be the more interesting characters. The men tend to be one-dimensional and boring. Even the Beast became bland when transformed to a human. And did Snow White's Prince even have a name? Of course, Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty...

    Durability of the parks?

The place is pretty solidly built; steel and concrete can last centuries if maintained. It's location in Central Florida has (so far) spared it from the hurricanes that hit the coast, there is negligible seismic activity, and should sea levels rise the parks are still in a good location. As...

What's your favourite place to relax, and take in the magic?

Call me crazy, but I always loved that small secluded area on the other side of the Skyway building in Tomorrowland; it just feels so out of the way. Caribbean Plaza also has a few spots that are nice and quiet to chill out in.

    Are YOU excited for Splitsville?

"Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion, man."

    super bowl

Well, the Super Bowl is on NBC this year, and ABC currently has no NFL rights, so Disney will be affected that way, I guess.

Former usage for Adventureland Pixie M&G?

Yeah, it was the Adventureland Verandah, and was a great place to get a meal. The atmosphere was great, and the teriyaki burgers were amazing.

AK...so much more than rides. Ruined us from going to local Zoo's!

A Bronx Zoo to Animal Kingdom comparison is probably a bit unfair; one is managed by the world's foremost zoological society, while the other is managed by the world's largest media company. Plus viewing animals in gorgeous Beaux-arts buildings complete with Gustavino tiles is something Animal...

    No More Great Goofini?

Maybe they've just given up on renaming rides when people will continue to use the old name anyway. It's like the Tomorrowland Transit Authority; everyone still called it the Peoplemover, now they've gone back and made it a part of the (rather long) attraction name.

    Oh no !!!

I did a search for the movie Maricela, and all I got was a TV movie from 1986. That was about a woman from El Salvador coming to work in the United States. This post has mostly been about Brazilians coming to the US for vacation. Brazilians speak Portuguese, and most have not an ounce of any...
