It probably is. They axed all of the original Celestial Park entertainment weeks ago. This is likely just a band-aid solution brought about by them being so unsure of what they want to do.

People holding off for Epic is a better explanation than none. Attendance isn't declining just because. I'm sure there are other factors, but that is likely a major one. Opening a park in the throes of a recession was always going to be difficult, just as building the park during a pandemic was.

... and spending $100 million on Epic Universe. I'm sure they've also lost attendance at their Orlando parks due to people waiting for Epic. It happens every time there's a major expansion on the horizon.

USH doesn't need to theme their park to a studio, the need to theme their park to its themes, which they have trouble doing. Much of the park is just jumbled together with no real sense of thematic direction or cohesion, in classic studio park fashion. That's why I say it has poor presentation...

Yes, the parks should stay open later, but that doesn't make their operations even remotely comparable to SeaWorld, which is doing its best Six Flags impression these days.
