Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

You know what's really laughably embarrassing? Just how hard you're trying. "Why does this outdoor kids ride in July have a lower wait than a headlining E-ticket dark ride at another park? Does anyone know? I'm genuinely stumped. No, really." You're no better than the person who chimes in once...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I don't recall the vehicle doing that when I rode, but perhaps they've been toying with the programming. In fact I barely even noticed the curtain after Dracula and wondered what all the hullabaloo was about until watching a POV, because I was facing UP, in the same fashion as the transitions to...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Except for Frankenstein's monster, all of the monsters are the same ones from the films, just redesigned. While I doubt anyone would consider Dark Universe canon, it is nonetheless a continuation of the Universal Monsters franchise.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Don't look down? That works for me. There's so much to see during this ride, why look at the floor? As for the curtains, the big one after the first Dracula scene is odd for sure and makes me wonder if something else was meant to be there, but the only others I can think of are the hanging...

That would depend entirely on their reach. Just because there are people with legitimate concerns about the park, that doesn't mean review bombing isn't possible.

Universal rumored to be in talks with Elon Musk’s Boring Co.

Boring indeed. Someone needs to bore into Musk's tiny brain and remind him of Florida's geography. His tunnel would be a sink hole before long. Did I miss something? Because it was Disney and their unwillingness to share a line with any competing attractions that killed all the rail proposals...

    News Halloween Horror Nights 2025

Don't give them any ideas. I'm not made of money. :cautious: If what I saw last year was any indication, they've actually been underselling the FFP w/Express since then, and those who manage to snatch one (with mere minutes to do so!) are burdened with insanely inflated prices to compensate...

    News Halloween Horror Nights 2025

I hope anyone willing to give up an arm & a leg for Express with their FFP this year was able to do so, because they already sold out in less than an hour.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Blown away by what though? I don't think anyone has ever been blown away by an entire park. Certainly not one that just opened. Obviously a lot of improvement is needed in operations, capacity, etc. That will likely work itself out in time. As far as the actual content of the park goes, you...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Listen, I know ride quality is subjective and all, but can you, like, actually go on the rides before rating or comparing them? Same goes for people who are comparing Epic Universe to other parks without having been to it yet.

    News Halloween Horror Nights 2025

I haven't seen the show, but I don't like that they're explicitly basing the house on it instead of the games themselves. I guess it's to be expected with Universal trying to appeal to normies. Hopefully it at least retains the same spirit.

Did you mean Venn diagram? Or Vin diagram?

    Funny, Universal disagrees.

It would be. You just attach the "Super Nintendo World" prefix to it, same way the three Harry Potter lands are all "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter."

    HOWL-O-SCREAM...is it worth it?

Is HOS worth it? Sort of. It's not bad. It's not particularly good either. It just sort of exists, largely as a decent addition (not alternative) to the significantly more crowded HHN. If you enjoy one, there's a reasonable chance you'll enjoy the other, but not necessarily for the same reasons...

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

It's pretty easy actually. It's the dental work you'll need after that's the hard part.

You seem a tad defensive about this.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Is it though? Does this sentiment only apply to current corporate leadership? Because a massive chunk of Disney's fan community basically worships the company's founder, and Disney is all too happy to indulge them, over 50 years after his death. While Universal doesn't have a single...

I'll never forgive them for this change. Just staple the children to their seats and be done with it. Hopefully the changes to Ministry are temporary.
