Monday for sure. Attendance is ALWAYS higher on the weekends. Also MK is closed early (7pm) on Friday for the MVMCP so people who have single park tix would (one thinks) avoid wasting their ticket that day and possibly contribute to the mayhem too.

Would they be open to the idea of a dry erase board or something to keep tally of what they've earned? Then you/your kids could then take them to "pick up" their DDs at the resort desk. (I would imagine CMs at the resort would be very accomodating if you set it up that way...)

Not sure if you are looking to give as holiday gifts or to just use at the park, but I know you can buy them AT the resort hotels and Guest Relations at the parks (saving you $15 shipping charge). If it is for gifts, would lean towards gift cards as above. Good luck!

As above, check closer to when you go, especially 24-48hrs prior. Also check both the app AND the online MDE....sometimes different things will show up on each.

I have heard the same thing, time frame seems somewhat fluid (always is right?) but sounds like fall of next year...and LONG refurb, not just a couple of days/weeks.

I'd imagine a changing protocol is the contributor since they don't ask about dining plan when they throw you into the lines, simply confirm at the bridge station whether you preordered or not. We did NOT and that was to our detriment.

As above....just wanted to warn you, with their new FP+ system in place (they don't allow the long line and give people return times) if you only reserve your time, you are put into line on the right with all of those returning guests who showed up the day of/did NOT get the invite & use online...

at MNSSHP this year, they had human walls of CMs blocking paths and would only let you through if you had a wristband. They have definitely gotten serious about it.

We were there Fri-Wed, same issues. Rumor has it that POTC is slated for a LONG refurb/additions at some point next year...dates seem somewhat fluid but last heard was Sept start. Hoping this is the case and it gets some of the attention it needs!

yeah, to be fair it's only a 2yr extension I think so not crazy-long. Definitely some rah rah in the statement about his greatness, but that's to be expected I think with any announcement of import. I sort of see it as a delay of game especially since they're supposedly naming a COO in 2015...
