    Grand Floridian or Wilderness Lodge?

They did not have the room class that we wanted available that week. The Poly would have been our first choice.

The wife and I are planning a short trip (3 nights) in May to celebrate our anniversary. I would like to get some opinions on which resort most prefer - Grand Floridian or Wilderness Lodge. Thanks.

    5 months pregnant....rides?

We went to WDW when my wife was 4 1/2 months pregnant. She avoided the more intense rides. She stayed away from the mountains in MK, TT and M:S in Epcot. In MGM she avoided ToT and RnRC. In AK we stayed away from Dinosaur and KRR (EE was not open yet). She had no problems with any of the other...

    Disney for Sale?

Actually the biggest money maker (profit) in the Disney family is ESPN, not the parks division.

    Disney for Sale?

I doubt this one. The parks bring in the most money out of anything for Disney. If they want to sell something it is going to be ABC. Actually the biggest money maker (profit) in the Disney family is ESPN, not the parks.

The Simpsons episode where they visit Epcot is great parody on the park.

If you had to close 3 attraction

    1) Universe of Energy - Ellen overkill and one of the worst movies ever. 2) Sounds Dangerous - nice place for a nap 3) Astro Orbiters - horrible loading procedure, long wait for a one minute ride.

    November or December

If I had to choose, I would go in November. Christmas time is one of the busiest times at WDW. I think your family would enjoy the trip a whole lot more in November. If you want to see all the Christmas decorations, go down the week before Christmas - all the glitter with less of the crowds.

    Worst dining experience

Big River Brewery on the Boardwalk. Awful, overpriced sandwich in a dark, cramped, musty smelling area. Horrible.

    Old Key West or Saratoga

Thanks for all the input. We go have been goign to Disnet at least one every year for the last five years but are no very familiar with either SSR or OKW. We were attempting to stay at either BWV or BCV but there are no rooms available at either at the Cast Member discounts. Thanks again for...

We are headed to WDW the first week in December with our son who will be 16 months at that time. We are looking at staying in a one bedroom villa. Which would be the better choice (in your opinion) - Old Key West or Saratoga Springs? Thanks!

If Money Was Not a Concern...

If I won powerball..... I would stay one week in the best suite in each of the deluxe and villa resorts. Eat at any of the restaurants whever I wanted. Rent out Blizzaed Beach for one day for just my firends and family. Then I would sponsor any and all of the children in the Make-A-Wish...

Walking from resorts to the parks

The only resorts which you are able to walk to any of the parks are the Epcot area resorts (Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Inn & Villas, Swan and Dolphin) and the Contemporary resort. From the Epcot area resorts you can walk to both Epcot and MGM. You can walk to the Magic Kingdom from the...

    Laptop Security...

The spouse goes to WDW quite a bit with all sorts of electronic doodads for work (employed by a sports-related member of the Disney family in Bristol CT) and has never had a problem. We have left the laptop on the desk and the Treo charging with no siisues.

    Yacht Club or Beach Club?

The Yacht Club tends to be less noisy due to the fact that the Beach Club does have the Beach Club Villas attached which attract more families. We have stayed at the Yacht Club several times and have noticed that it is more laid back than the Beach Club.
