If you called Disney directly and did not ask for the current "special" running from January to March you got a higher price. KK probably priced you on the special with a free ticket upgrade which is why they priced out less. Once you book with KK they can handle all of you dine reservations...

I would get them before to avoid waiting on line. There are several places on-line to get them at a discount such as Undercovertourist.com reccommended by MouseSavers & Orlandofuntickets.com reccommended by MiceChat. You could get them in advance and save a little money.

You don't mention what type of resort you are looking for. Value, Moderate or Deluxe. My suggestion is to work with a travel agent. They are constantly on the phone with Disney or on the special travel agent website and that can make a big difference. I spent all afternoon yesterday working...

Generally if the park is closed to capacity, with or without a dining reservation you will not get in. People used to make dining reservation for New Years Eve at Epcot thinking that would get them in to the park. Does not work...closed is closed. It will close to outside guests before it...

It's pretty much a physcological test...there is no way to fake you way through it. Just answer the questions to the best of your ability, don't try to make more of the question then it is, and above all be honest. The way a lot of the questions are asked, if you lie, it will show up...

The rooms are small, 2 double beds. If you want to request a King your chances of getting one are slim, as the King bedded rooms are handicapped rooms and they will go to those who need it first.

Early December can get pretty busy. Christmas decorations are up and local people with seasonal passes go early December because they are blacked out Christmas time....
