when did a trip to WDW become a 6 time a year thing? Looking for opinions.

It's OK For us 3-6 times a year is OK. With DVC and the APs, why not go whenever you can. It's only 10 hrs driving for us, so if we leave at 6am there is still time for play and fireworks somewhere. Last year it was only 3. This year, DL and at least 2 in WDW.

    DL vs WDW

We just left DL, my 1st trip in 30 yrs. Comparing DL and MK, We really like POC, Indiana Jones ride, SM, and the way Tinkerbell flies around the castle. I found out they had to save their 20K ride because it was holding up the Matterhorn. The Nemo ride is almost ready. SM cars ride 2 abreast and...

Goose Bumps-Warm Fuzzies-Hair On Neck Stands Straight Up

Goose bumps I try and stay in a Disney frame of mind all the time. We have Disney in almost every room at home. I have a bobble head Mickey at work, the anniversary poster for MK on the wall and WDW audio on the computer. But POC does it for me.

Why does i-4 exit 62 say Epcot Center?

Signs If FDOT is like TDOT, then the signs will be up for a looong time. TDOT, to saved money building new interstates around Nashville just changed some of the signs to try and reroute traffic. Also signs on I-65 for "Opryland Park" were up long after the park closed. Are there still any...

    Live Camera of Epcot GONE???

webcams It wasn't 9/11 that did it. They were off before that. I also emailed right after they were shutoff and the reply was that it was temporary. After doing some digging, it was to reduce the "information" for competition.

    Path behind Goofy Barnstormer

The Path It's a great path and area. We've taken it a few times to avoid crowds. The first time the family was scared because nobody was on it. It's one of the only places to see the train rolling.

    Nemo Submarine ride at Disneyland

It's not fair! We're going to DL in April. Checking the DL website, it looks like they have taken 2kL area and did a minor conversion to Nemo. I quess MK will never get it now.

Riders hit by outage at Epcot

?? This ain't right! People going to WDW get stuck on the interstate for hours because of an accident, they aren't traumatized! The power goes out at home, you don't panic. Your buckled in, the emergency lights come on -NO PROBLEM. If you don't try and make the best of things, life will be...

WDW Trip Without Going To MK, AK, MGM or Epcot

Other stuff to do When we go, we have to spend at least a half day at DD to look and then stop in later in the week to buy. We also cruise, get on a boat(s) and go from one resort or park to another. We've gone to the different hotels just to see what they are like. Just go out and search, spy...

    Driving To Florida?

driving When our kids were little, all of the trips were at night. This way they slept :snore: through everything and we didn't have to stop every couple of hours. There is also a lot less traffic, (except for trucks). Now that they are older, the DVD works. Have a safe trip.
