Idk about the Swan but most Disney resorts have activities and DTD has had trick or treating in the past. It's pretty crowded though. When you check in, ask the resort about the activities for Halloween. We stayed at French Quarter in2012 and they had an afternoon of Hallowesn activities .

Florida August heat is the worse but it's still fun when you're at Disney!

My favorites are cabins at Fort Wilderness, French Quarter and Contemporary (out of the ones I've stayed at which include all values minus AoA, moderates minus Riverside, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Poly) going to be staying at GF in September, for the money I sure hope that'll be one of my new...

I was at Hollywood studios last Monday and thought the same thing about the crowds. I was kind of suprised about how many people were there. And I agree 100% about the prices going up...of course everythig seems to be going up except my paycheck.:eek:

Well that makes two of us that are bad parents. I don't see anything wrong with the kids in the stroller. Disney is alot of walking and it makes our trip so much nicer not having the kids whinning about their legs hurting or being tired

OK...that pic of the guy in the bathing suit cracked me up! That bathing suit was a little TMI. The man without a belt was a great pic too! These pics remind me to be careful about what I wear! I love love love all the random pics of people...lol But most of all I loved all the calorie free...

It sounds like you have your plans figured out, the only advice I'd give is to prepare her for all the walking she's about to do! Warn her early mornings and late nights with lots of walking in between! And most importantly, have fun!

I just logged onto touringplans.com and checked the crowd levels for week i will be there (nov 12-17)....before last week they had MK a 2 on Tue and a 2.5 on Wed, now Tue is a 9 and Wed is a 9.1...but on these two dates MK was the only park to increase crowd levels...the others went down or...
