Agree to disagree I guess. I think given his resume, Jake will be an action hero with real acting skills.
The film is going to be featured at WonderCon in early April (4/3), so I am sure we will hear more reactions to the footage and interviews at the convention.
here are more details
I agree that the strong message makes it a great film for kids...and anyone really. Cool to have a young female fighting to save the kingdom, you know?
What did you guys think of the Cheshire Cat? Very cool cat if you ask me!
I am sure you guys have been keeping tabs on all the news coming out about the film. Thought I'd update the thread with the new character info. Of the 14 new characters, we have seen -
Trixie
Twitch
Buttercup
Ken
Peas In A Pod
Lots O' Huggin' Bear
I think the new trailer is really impressive too. Not sure if you check the film's facebook page, but Bruckheimer answered a bunch of fan questions and actually said that this movie performed better in test screenings than Pirates - very good sign!
Here are some images too.
Wanted to update the thread with this new video. Has a lot of new cast interviews and shows how they created an ancient city in Morocco - it's so elaborate and beautiful!
video here.
There was a fan event in LA on Friday night. They've posted cast interviews online. It's cool to hear how each actor was drawn to their character and prepared for such iconic parts.
here is the footage
The pig line made me laugh too.
Have you seen this video all about the Mad Hatter's role in the film? Love the idea of the Burton really fleshing out all the characters - should be interesting to see.
don't you just love The Red Queen's description of The White Queen??
I particularly enjoy the progression from green screen to the final Cheshire cat - very fascinating process.
Nice to see such detail is going into the film. I thought I'd also share this interview and cover shoot with Mia Wasikowska for Teen Vogue - especially considering that not that many...
Every fan has to see this trailer! It really proves that Toy Story has such universally touching themes. I think A LOT of people across the world are really looking forward to the third film!
I saw Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel on the Golden Globes - I think they'll make a really cute couple in When In Rome (comes out Jan 29th). Did anyone else see them or perhaps the trailer for their movie?
Yeah...I would put that under romantic comedy either - LOL.
Not to totally change the topic, but I just watched "I've Loved You So Long" and I can't get over Kristen Scott Thomas' performance - absolutely amazing.
Came out just the other day! Amazing footage if you ask me. It really looks like a fresh take on Carroll's works, which is a huge plus for me.
Link to trailer!
Has anyone been watching? They have great stuff on every night.
Here is the schedule: http://community.abcfamily.go.com/25-days-christmas/schedule
Santa Clause 2 is on tonight!
I think once summer rolls around and we have seen all the films clips, it'll be exciting.
Jake looks like he really went the distance for this role - he looks like a real life super hero or something! The woman is Gemma Arterton, she was the redhead in the last Bond film - Quantum of...
