    Credit card question

Ahhh! This happened to me in Sept. I had to give the c.c guarentee for the Storybook Breakfast at Epcot. We found out at 11pm the night before it that we had to change our flight, as hurricane Jeanne was closing the airport at 5pm on Sat., but our flight was supposed to leave at 7 pm Sat...

Whens the best time to go?

The least crowded for us is always the 3rd/4th wk of Sept. No waits, even Fastpass isn't always operating..we did get pushed out early this year thanks to Hurricane Jeanne!! The other great time to go was the week after Thanksgiving--the decorations & festivities were awesome, the only bummer...

How Do You Plan Out Your Disney Week?

We come from Philly every year (South NJ, actually), and we fly in on a Fri. morning, and stay off-site that night (I always rent a car) We chill, then go to Downtown shopping, and a good Int'l Drive rest. for dinner (usually Charlie's Steakhouse for lobster!!) We check in after our Cracker...

Family vacation planning advice: Nov-Dec 2005

In 2003, we went from Black Friday until the following Sat. The crowds were very light after the Sat. after Thanksgiving..The decorations are really worth a trip themselves! The weather was kind of chilly--we only got to a waterpark one day, the other days we wore light jackets. I would agree...

Thanks For the Info! Thanks for all of your input! Regarding the list of participating restaurants, I found it on mousesavers.com--it's a PDF file. Two sit-down meal 'points' are needed for California Grill, Artist Point, Luau at Poly, Hoop De Doo Revue, Citricos, Narcooses's, Coral Reef...

    Flexibility of "Magic" Passes??

Let's say I buy a'Magic Your Way' pass for 7 days. According to what I've read, the pass expires 14 days after its first use. So lets say I buy the $45 option to visit water parks & Pleasure Island, and I'm staying 9 days instead of 7. Midway through my trip, I choose to not visit a major...

    Dinner at Grand Flo...Who visits?

Right on about the Prince!! The food was really good. I seem to remember a saute station where they'd make you pasta with shrimp any way you wanted it, a carved ham & Prime Rib, some nice veggies and sides. They even had carved turkey. A few varieties of soup were offered. The kid's buffet...

    Dinner at Grand Flo...Who visits?

Floridian Dinner Guests When we went to 1900 Park Fare the last two years for dinner, it was Cinderella (a rather homely one, though) Prince Charming (who seemed he would like a guy named 'Charlie' rather than 'Cinderella'!) and Suzy & Perla, the mice. It was my daughter's birthday, and the...

    Election Day 2005??

Hi All! I'm getting ready to plan our annual trek to Disney for November, 2005. I'm from New Jersey, so I am looking to go when the NJEA Teacher's convention takes place. A teacher friend of mine says that the convention is always the Thurs & Fri. of Election week. Well, I have 4 different...

    Jersey Week?

We did 'Jersey Week' 2 yrs ago. The crowds were nothing like summer, but not as good as Sept or 1st week of Dec. either. I would say they are truely tolerable. You'll wait for the usual (get Fastpass) Pooh, Dumbo, Peter Pan, but Snow White should be a walk-on, Test Track (single or Fastpass...

At check-in at the Royal table, tell the Hostess that it is your daughter's b-day. When you are taken to your table, they'll place some Mickey confetti & ribbon at her place to let the Princesses 'know' it's her big day. They will also bring her a large cupcake with a candle in it. At 1900...
