    Best Buffet?

My fave is Tusker House breakfast at AK for Breakfast. People rave about Boma, but I honestly hated it. Everything tasted like mustard to me, and I hate mustard. Even my hubby and kids disliked it. It was @ 5 years ago, and I'd never go back. Chef Mickey is was too chaotic for me. Crystal...

    All Star Family Suites Included?

I know that when the All Star Family Suites were first introduced, they were not included in any of the 'deals' of free dining or % off. Does anyone know if these suites are now eligible for deals? Thanks.

Do you feel like your ADR cause 'time' restrictions?

My first trip to the 'World' with my daughter, we weren't 'in the know'. After a few days of quick service, we craved a nice sit down meal. I will never forget going to the check in desk at Coral Reef in early December @ 6:00 on a Monday evening and requesting a table for 3. The hostess asked...

Torn over Tusker House Character Bfast

Love, love, love Tusker House! We go every year. The food is great. I went to Chef Mickey's only once and didn't care for it. It was too loud, and it was one big room where you could see everything. Tusker is broken down into a lot of smaller rooms, so you never really know who's going to...

    Coral Reef for CP Package?

We enjoy the Coral Reef nearly every time we visit, not so much for the food, but for the atmosphere. I've never had a 'Wow that was great' kind of meal there. The only other downfall is that every single time we go, we have to wait at least half an hour past our ADR time. Not sure if maybe...

Are crowds really that bad at Easter?

As the resident 'Disneyholic' at work, my boss asked me a few years back for my input on his trip over Easter. I told him that I'd rather NOT go than go over Easter, as the crowds are only dwarfed by Christmas. I suggested he go when his kids got out of school in June instead. He ignored my...

    Southwest having a sale...again

Try Atlantic City Airport--Spirit Air. We're in Jersey, too and flying Spirit. The flights are a good price, @ $120 ea way, it's just the endless fees that break the bank, unfortunately. ACY is so much better than PHL, so it's worth it to me.

Where to enter HPW from IOA

Thanks so much for the info!! I'm just hoping next week's movie premiere doesn't bring the throngs of visitors again!! We're going in the middle of August, mid-week, and staying at Hard Rock for early entry to make sure we can experience it. We're book-ending the trip with a 6 day Disney stay...

Where to enter HPW from IOA

I have heard that you have to enter Harry Potter Land/World in a certain spot in IOA..is it from Jurrasic Park area? Or do you walk thru the Seuss area to enter? Thanks! Just plotting my strategy!

    ASM or POP?

DEFINATELY Pop!! One bus for Pop. One shared bus for All Star Music/Sports/Movies, at least that's how it was last time I stayed there. The kids love Pop more than PORS. So does my wallet!

    CBR Roll Away Bed

Does anyone know if you can rent a roll away bed/______ at CBR? We have 4 people sharing a room, but it's tight for 2 adults to share a double bed. We usually stay at POR where there is a trundle. And there were no rooms available at CSR where there are Queen beds. Thanks!

    Grateful Guest

What a moving story! I sure hope the cast members (and their supervisors) know how much their actions made a difference! Hope all is well now! There are some really great people sharing the Earth with us!

Perks? How bout morning newspaper at every resort

Funny..I was in the World when Princess Diana died. We were totally freaked out. We were so unaware of the outside world, so when we saw the story on the news, we couldn't really grasp the reality. I remember talking about it while waiting in lines, and many people we met from the UK had not...

    2012 DDP changes

(sounding like a Grandparent)....I remember the good old days when The Dining Plan included an appetizer, entree, dessert, beverage AND gratuity! And the waiter/waitress would run over to open the check to make sure you left an extra gratuity!... Pretty soon the Dining Plan won't include an...

Adding additional days to your Park Hopper Tickets

So funny! I was just about to ask this question! My family is visiting the world at the end of August. We are supposed to fly home on a Sunday, but then I found out I have to attend a seminar in of all places, Orlando! So I figured instead of flying home to NJ on Sunday and turning around...

    I've Been Sucked In !!

Funny! I make mine pocket sized. I laminate them and give one to each person to hold onto. We usually stay 10 days, so I have 5 days on one side, 5 on the other. I color code each day for which 2 parks we will visit each day(i.e Red on top for MK, Purple after dinner 'line' for EP) I put our...

disney hotel guest and you want to drive to the other hotel for dinner?

When you check in to your resort, they'll give you a slip of paper to keep on the dash of your car. Wherever you drive to in the 'World', the parking attendant will see it and wave you through. There's no charge for parking at any park/resort, except of course if you choose valet parking...

    MYW with Hopper

Thank you all for the confirmation! I can breathe easier now! And that's exactly where I am planning on staying at Hard Rock. We stayed at Royal Pacific and loved it last time, but thought we'd try the Hard Rock this time. Can't find any specials for a 2 night stay, though, so it looks like...
