Is there any way to find out whats left on park hopper passes before I get to WDW? I want to see what days I have left before my next trip so I don't over buy my new passes. If I wait until I get to the resort and buy additional days there will they be at the online price or higher? And...

I'm pretty sure the last time we stayed there in Oct '04 they had them. You could call the resort to make sure.

Both are great for planning your trip. The Unofficial Guide I feel goes into a lot more detail but lacks the organizational aspect of the Passporter. Both have touring guides and the pull out maps are better in the Passporter. I say get both!

Mine just came from Amazon today! Hopefully this will help me make it through the next 8 months until I can actually BE at WDW! Now I just have to wait to get out of work!

I agree the Unofficial Guide is the best. Passporter is pretty good too if you want an organizer as well as some useful information. You really can't go wrong with either one. My Unofficial Guide is on its way!

Passporter has approximate travel times from each resort to each park as well. I think the Unofficial Guide is better showing comparison to using a car, helpful in deciding whether to rent one or not.

With South Wings extended to Sept '06 will the North wing remain the same until the South is done? Im staying in May '06 and would love to be in a newly refurbished room!

I thought they rotated every year? Last year Blizzard Beach closed first in late October, any way they do close each year for refurbishment. Check the Disney site or WDWMagic for closing schedule.

I am planning to visit WDW in May 2006 and was thinking of staying at the Contemporary. I was thinking that it would be nice to grab the monorail and zip over to MK or Epcot but other than that is it really worth it? Should I look at staying somewhere else and save some money and take the buses...

We purchased park hopper plus passes and were still able to use the plus days 2 years later. I don't think they expire. I also think you can only use one per park.
