    The Status of Muppet*Vision 3D

If you’re surprised by what @Magenta Panther has to say about the Muppets, you haven’t been paying much attention on these forums.

Something is going to happen to Fantasmic

Agreed. If WDW ever upgrades their Fantasmic!, I hope it’s focused more on effects upgrades like the 2009 DL refurb and not content changes like the 2017 DL refurb. This isn’t to say that a content change to certain elements such as the Pocahontas scene wouldn’t be welcome, but that something to...

How Disney can get Marvel for WDW

Actually, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore as can be seen in this tweet from @bioreconstruct. For those here in the know, I have a few questions about this... 1. How was Universal able to use imagery of a Marvel character who’s imagery wasn’t already being used in IOA? 2. How was Disney...

EPCOT Epcot Forever to debut as interim show before full Reflections of Earth replacement

While I totally get where you’re coming from, I still can’t help but find the fact Disney even attempted to aim any new product at an audience that is as “swiftly dwindling” as you say it is to be impressive. Honestly, this show is pretty much the exact opposite of something modern Disney...

EPCOT Epcot Forever to debut as interim show before full Reflections of Earth replacement

Well, then I don’t know what else to call a compilation of mostly songs that only major EPCOT Center fans would have a strong attachment to or even know the origin of. You may not have thought it was good fan service, but that was objectively the intent with this show.

EPCOT Epcot Forever to debut as interim show before full Reflections of Earth replacement

Come on guys, we need to bring the criticism down a bit here. Even with A Whole New World slapped on at the end, you have to give Disney credit for going this deep with the fan service. Sure, it’s no RoE, but for what it is, it packs the right emotional punch overall. If there’s anything that...

What if they improve upon the existing attraction in such way that doesn’t take away from what it already is? Would you still love it then?

EPCOT Final Performance of 'Illuminations : RoE' Fan Meetup - Imagination Pavilion Gardens : Sept-30th 2pm-3pm

100% agreed. While I’m sure EPCOT Forever will be a nice tribute to the EPCOT of old, it’s only temporary. The fact that this will ultimately be replaced by the IP filled HarmonioUS makes tonight feel like a funeral for World Showcase as a whole. Without a doubt, this is easily my least favorite...

As a temporary quick fix while the land around it changes? Sure. Permanently? I hope not. It was good for 1994, but there’s no way it won’t stick out like a sore thumb as that aesthetic continues fade out of the land.

I do concur. Just keep in mind that we’re still early on in the process of this makeover. It’s not completely outside of the realm of possibility that the painted over non-congruent architectural elements will be removed at some point later on in the process.

Based on the two pieces of concept art released so far, it doesn‘t look like much will change from the Shanghai version in that regard. That being said, the darkened piece of concept art released at last month’s D23 Expo shows a gridlike pattern painted on the showbuilding, so that might make a...

Yeah, I can only imagine where the Imagineers could’ve come up with the inspiration needed forsuch a ludicrous idea. You’re right. There are major differences between the two lands from a design perspective, but that doesn’t mean certain architectural elements from SDL’s Tomorrowland can’t be...

    News Tomorrowland love

I get where you’re coming from. For the past five years or so of repainting, most of it has come off as either randomized color testing or a cheap quick fixes to disguise fixtures of the 1994 aesthetic they aren’t quite ready to remove just yet. However, now that things like the new entrance...

Well, looks like my theory was wrong. It’s great to see it back open, but they seriously need to update the aesthethics before it ends up sticking out like a sore thumb.

Rumor Cinderella Castle turning rose gold for the 50th

Re-themed? Of course, it’s a major anniversary. Re-themed to any color outside of regular gold? Hard pass.

The installation of the sign may be complete, but the implementation of the aesthetic across the land isn’t, so you can’t judge how it looks against the main concourse as it currently stands.

Because we should really care less about what happens to Tomorrowland as theme park fans. Disney pop-up stores inside of select Target locations, on the other hand, are the kind of thing that’s truly worthy of our excitement and anticipation.
