We took our kids out for two weeks, no qualms. They’re both good students and will take a few days to catch up. I think crowds are just spreading out more because people chase the “low” and avoid the “high”.

It’s better than Peter Pan’s Flight, which has similarly silly wait times.

We easily grabbed a Tiana’s lightning lane on the day of, after starting our day at Animal Kingdom.

We aren’t parade people. We enjoyed walking by it along the river, and paused to snap a pic. That was plenty. We got snow a few times! That was fun. :)

Anecdotal: we attended our first ever Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on Thursday. One thing that surprised me was that the “free” cookies were legit good. And the hot cocoa was decent. The fireworks were awesome, with a jaw-dropping finale. Caught part of the parade in passing. Rode...

Ridiculous price but I’m assuming it’s only for that Xmas/NY week. We were first at the rope one day this week, and Mine Train was down. Even with the disappointment of missing that zero-line experience, there was no way we’d shell out for the Lightning Lane.

I’d like to try riding during the fireworks but my family wants to focus on the show. Tonight I agree with them, since it is MVMCP.

So glad the ride is still open for our current trip. First time riding it in the dark — so much fun! Hoping they somehow tone down the noise of the lift tunnels with this refurb. We plug our ears.
