News Disney CFO Christine McCarthy says Disney will continue to focus on existing intellectual property for new park investments

It's inevitable given the amount of IP Disney now owns, especially after the introduction of Disney+. Now I've never been a CEO, but it makes little business sense to me to *not* use your own IP within your parks. It's also a business driving move in their eyes - you like a particular IP? Oh...

Living With The Land tomato tree?

Agreed. Really enjoyed doing that tour years ago. Didn't it used to be free? I was quite disappointed to see the Living with the Land ride wasn't open when were there in November.

Disney World Planning is far too complicated (CNBC article)

My point is Disney is way too complicated for them, not that they are completely advserse to planning a vacation. The input isn't worth the output (cost is also a factor).

Disney World Planning is far too complicated (CNBC article)

I've gotten about one sentence into talking about planning a Disney vacation and all my friends' eyes glaze over. None of them are interested enough to do that much work as you have outlined here.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

That's the rub for me, I feel like Universal's gives me value for that price (or higher). And the funny thing is when were there last we didn't even need it. at all. (We didn't buy it) as opposed to our one day at Disney where we also didn't buy Genie + but I could see how people would feel...

News Evermore Orlando Resort - new billion-dollar, 10,000-room resort project is coming right next to Walt Disney World

Agreed I told my husband the next Orlando trip in 3-4 years we will definitely be staying here.

News Walt Disney World to resume complimentary parking at its resort hotels

I'm as skeptical as they come in terms of Disney. But this is a move in the right direction, undoubtedly caused by negative guest feedback, social media, and press. Just like many of us said would/should happen. Where's all the "too many people are going to Disney, they don't care about...

Disney CEO Bob Iger says there has never been a better time to be a Disney fan

A giant corporation could start punching it's customers in the face as a required part of doing business, and you'd come up with some nonsensical arguement why that's a good thing for everyone involved.

Disney CEO Bob Iger says there has never been a better time to be a Disney fan

Why do you always kiss the ring of corporations? Everyone knows flying gets worse every year.

Disney CEO Bob Iger says there has never been a better time to be a Disney fan

Although nice, you don't even need it. We had no trouble getting around and communicating. Counting the days until we can return.

News Holiday crowds at Walt Disney World theme parks 2022

It was tons (and tons) of families which also surprised me, I thought the crowd would be mostly adults.

News Holiday crowds at Walt Disney World theme parks 2022

It wasn't just that it was crowded, it was more that it felt no one had anywhere to go. I was just in NYC by the tree two weekends ago, city was packed. But the people were active and going places. At Epcot it was crowds just standing around.

News Holiday crowds at Walt Disney World theme parks 2022

It was a Friday. I definitely knew it would be crowded don't get me wrong, it was more the sheer volumes of people wandering around with nothing to do that shocked me. Never saw anything like that in all my years visiting Disney.

News Holiday crowds at Walt Disney World theme parks 2022

Even though we swore we wouldn't, our Universal trip last month brought us to Epcot for a day. I couldn't resist getting a chance to go to the Food and Wine Festival / 50th merch. But besides scoring a boarding group for Guardians, it was as miserable as I feared. Just crowds and crowds of...

News Bob Iger is back! Chapek is out!!

Why exactly is bringing in the same CEO yet again exciting? It screams of poor Board leadership. I'm happy Chapek is leaving but Iger coming back is "meh" news. This is more to try and stave off further losses than for Iger to come in and reverse any poorly received decisions the company has...

News Disney Parks win multiple Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and Brass Ring awards at this week's IAAPA Expo in Orlando

We saw attendees streaming into Universal around 8pm last night. My husband who has never worked a corporate job, couldn't believe how many people he was seeing 😂. I'm assuming they rent it out for attendees? We were saying how cool it would be to ride VC at night (which side note was the...

Good to know you're doubling down on your disgusting comments. I'm from New Jersey and many other posters here are. Go pound sand.
