Which Disney Resort for one night...

Yip. I have a house out in Davenport so we're just looking at some place that me and the wife can go to and granny and grandad can't look after our little girl.

Which Disney Resort for one night...

Yip this old thread again... I want to book a night for my wife and I for our wedding anniversary and currently we're looking at the following: The Swan or The Dolphin, Animal Kingdom Lodge or Wilderness Lodge. Your thoughts? Basically because it's only one night I would prefer if there...

Sleeping Wife and Daughter. Who deals with this?

We usually hit the parks first thing then go back to our villa when it's starting to really heat up and then back out. Early mornings in Florida are the best!

    Least Favorite Disney Deluxe Resort?

Grand Floridian - don't like the atmosphere at all.

New Orleans Woman Arrested At Magic Kingdom For Child Abuse

I think and this is probably a totally obvious point, that because WDW is a family place that the amount of children you will see is very large and therefore there will probably be the odd instance of this as some people are idiots who should not have children. I have a 3 year old and have...

Leaving when Wishes is on - Don't know how new this is?

Like I say I've been before and it's been a nightmare getting out - maybe it was just a lot better organised than last time I was there.

For people who don't go very often - how to you get by when you get back?

Well we tend to go every year to year and a half and when we're working i very rarely see my wife or kids but when we're on vacation we spend all our time with each other. does anyone find it difficult when you have to come back to the 'real' world and how do you cope with the withdrawl?

Crazy things youve seen at Disney!

For me, we were watching Spectromagic one night standing around the entrance path to Adventureland when a bunch of families let their kids climb all over the railings next to the grass and climb over in to the grassy area is where the water. Maybe it's just me but that's pretty insane...

Balloon blowing away - What would you have done?

Exactly. My wife said 'can we have two of the Tinkerbell ones?' then when he said they light up we were just kinda 'like 'oooooh great'. It's not as if it was a vacation ruiner or anything like that. I just wanted to see what everyone else would've done. If it happened it MK I maybe would've...

How Old Were You When The Parents Kicked The Stroller To The Curb

To be fair in my previous comment I didn't mention that we just came back with my daughter who was two and a half. We took her stroller however the majority of time she actually wanted to walk and often wanted out. Also what we tend to do is to park our stroller at stroller parking and go for...

Balloon blowing away - What would you have done?

In fairness at the time we just kind of had a 'ah well' attitude to it and she wasn't really THAT bothered about it. It was actually one of our first days believe it or not. Really I didn't want to be that person that went back in and said 'give me another balloon' because it doesn't REALLY...

Balloon blowing away - What would you have done?

Well we just came back from 2 weeks at the World and when we were there we bought two of those Tinkerbell light up balloons (not realising they were $15.00 each but hey ho) for our two daughters. We came out of the Magic Kingdom and as we were walking over to the car park, the 9 year old's...

Leaving when Wishes is on - Don't know how new this is?

We usually go in September and last year in March and I have seen it to an extent, it just seemed a bit more organised than usual.

How Old Were You When The Parents Kicked The Stroller To The Curb

I first went to the World in 89 at the age of 4 and have never had a stroller - changed times I guess.

    Sad but interesting: Discovery Island

Wait, isn't this a different one? The other one had all the photos of the flumes and the employee of the month stuff. Or is this just an extension?
