I'm sure it's just too much hassle to hold the phone up. I stood behind someone at Disneyland once watching an NFL football game with the volume turned up. Can't hold it up and still watch the next play!

I actually think there's zero chance of getting guests to fix this. These are Disney's parks. If their guests are messy, they need to staff at a level to keep it cleaned up.

You are right about all of that. But then I see people talking about how they should add the Simpsons, Dr. Who, Die Hard, Home Alone, any number of IPs they acquired in the Fox deal and it's just too much. And Disney actually put out movies under the Disney banner with most of those older IPs...

Your odds of getting parents to do that is practically zero. Especially while wrangling a toddler you are done changing. And I would prefer parents who just changed a diaper (and not yet washed) not touch the toilet seat. Never mind that not all diaper contents are solid and can just be dumped...

I've never been really thrilled about some of those (you can add Marvel to that for DLR). But really I feel that a little of this is fine. But the more you do it, the more you dilute the Disney brand in the parks, and they just become a mish mash of IPs from across the spectrum.

That's a sure fire way to end up with fecal matter on the toilet seat. If a parent folds up the diaper and puts it in the bathroom trash can, I consider their job over.

No. Disney has a tertiary relationship with so much media. It should take a lot more than that to get a place in Disney parks. Everyone keeps suggesting these non-Disney IPs for attractions in the parks. At what point do they just become IP World rather than Disney World?

But maybe everyone will now think they are plunging into a thick pillow of lush swamp grass?

Aren't most public toilets automatic now?
