News 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort reopening in April 2024

I'll wait until I see this site's deep dive before making a final judgment call but the decor does look like a nice step up, at least from what I can recall from my one and only time there in 2017.

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

An attraction based on Cars (a terrible film franchise) just doesn't excite me as much as an attraction based on Coco, which is without a doubt one of the best films Pixar as ever done. Regardless, it's quite thrilling to hear the rumor mill churring again for all the parks.

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I don't think anyone here, hopefully, is against DAS as a program. Anyone who submits documentation to prove they have a legit need should be allowed access. But these families with "poor children who cant wait more than 30 mins in a standby line" don't count. The trash has to be taken out...

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I think Dinoland has always been the weakest link at DAK. I don't have the hate for Joe that some folks on here have for giving us the land, he did the best he could with the lemons given to him, but the loss of Dinoland is a great win for the park overall. We will finally see a land on the...

Grocery Delivery Options (Garden Grocer - Walmart?)

We've never used Walmart Delivery on our WDW trips but this would, I think, be the closest Supercenter to the Boardwalk. https://www.walmart.com/store/5420-kissimmee-fl/shopping-services

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Then you should have absolutely no issues submitting the documentation 🤷‍♂️ Either comply with the new rules don't go. It really isn't that hard to understand.

Guide to DLR for WDW Veterans!

The hubs and I are in the early stages of planning a trip out to DL next summer for the 70th. It's my first time ever at DL (and California as a whole). We're DVC for WDW so my question at the moment is this: is it worth trying to score a studio in July '25 with points or we better off just...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

As a public school teacher, let me go on record to say how sorry I am that your brother had the misfortune of having a disability as a public school student. The way that most (not all) systems treat students with disabilities is horrendous. I've been on many a "blacklist" because of my advocacy...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

There are so many people who have unjustly taken advantage of this system, to the detriment of those who truly need it, so, unfortunately this was an inevitable outcome.

Test track closed for the summer?

It's closed virtually every afternoon for 2-3 hours from May-September anway. These "omg Disney is effing stupid for closing an E-ticket even if its becoming brand new" reactions are why they hardly ever give us refreshes of our favorite rides. Life goes on.

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

It's such a gorgeous area!! Now one of my favorite spots in the park whereas I used to run as fast as I could to World Showcase.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

We were lucky enough to grap a Group 13 return time and our wait was very manageable, maybe 30 minutes tops. That's about as long as I'm willing to wait.

Heavy crowds for 23rd april week onwards? Still Spring Break? Think I messed up

I It'll definitely be busy but not "the worse" crowds of the year

Heavy crowds for 23rd april week onwards? Still Spring Break? Think I messed up

Spring Break crowds, in the traditional sense, should be long gone by the end of April. Most public schools will wrap up their breaks by next week and most colleges are in the final exam period in early May. We went the week before Easter and it wasn't bad at all (but we're also veteran park...
