The Board walk is fun, especially in the evening when it is usually buzzing! There`s a variety of eating places according to tastes and $. It is so handy to be able to walk to Epcot or the Studios. If you stay there , the gym is good too!!

We had a few days at the Grand Floridian--it was amazing!! Loved the view over the lake, the boat ride to MK, the beautiful entrance hall--I could go on!!

Somehting else--before you drive the car away, check it out for scratches and bumps. If there are any,make sure they are written on the hire agreement, so they can`t charge you for them when you return the car!!!

We flew in to Miami, the car rental guy at Alamo tried to get us to pay extra for sat nav. We were going to Key West. I told him no, as there was only one highway to Key West so I reckoned we wouldn`t get lost!!

When the kids were little we took loads of snacks etc, as it was expensive to always but them food in the parks--we never had any problems.

Yes you are right--I guess for me actually just being there is the most amazing thing and a view is a bonus--190 days to go !!

Walking around the parks all day can be tiring. A stroller will give your son a chance for some time out and a rest. Tired children can make a day difficult!!

As others have said, you need less points for a lack of a view. But the view is not everything. the location is excellent!!
