Big changes coming to FASTPASS in March

We have never had a problem with Fast Passes, we just return in the right window as allocated. Do you think there will be a time when guests will pay to get an exclusive Fast pass?

    Bugs in Disney World

We use citonella to try to deter bug bites. Also I have heard they won`t bite if you eat marmite!!

Just how much can you do in 2 weeks at WDW?

How exciting for you all!! We don`t plan too for ahead these days, so every day is a surprise. We all have things that we really want to do , so make a list of those to make sure everyone in our party has been on the rides of their choice.

    DL vs. WDW

Lots of interesting comments; never been to DL. We are thinking about it, but the flight is just that bit longer for us in the UK. I get the feeling that whereas we have 2 weeks in WDW, we would have a shorter time in DL. I believe there are some good studio tours?

Big changes coming to FASTPASS in March

If everyone had just returned in their given window, none of this would have had to happen!! Then we wouldn`t be having this Thread!!:ROFLOL:

    Your Disney survival kit

I can understand your thoughts , as we never drink water from the taps in Europe--though it has got better!! but I feel safe in the US and especially WDW.

    Your Disney survival kit

We are from the UK and always drink from the fountains--all has been ok on our numerous visits. I guess I trust Disney and the US!! I could imagine Disney testing their water--does anyone know if they do??

    August heat at Disney

If you are sensible you will be fine--those of us from the UK often have to visit WDW in August as that is when our school vacations are. Go out early, there will always be one park with an early opening time. We go back to base between 12 and 2 for swim/lunch/ rest. Then we are ready for the...

DVC , is it really that popular, worth it?

DVC works for us as we like self catering. We bought in to Old Key West Resort 14 years ago. You can pick which weeks you want to go and your size of appartment. If you don`t want to go one year you can "bank" your points to the next year. If you don`t have enough points for a stay, than you can...

Big changes coming to FASTPASS in March

Do you know people who don't enjoy Disney World?

My husband wouldn`t go if I wasnt passionate about it!! The long flight from the UK makes him grumpy!! How ever once he experiences the magic he lightens up a bit. I do have to plan extras, such as riding the monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. Then there is the boat ride to Fort Wilderness...

    "Last day" management

Flights to the UK are always late afternoon/early evening. So we check in our bags at Downtown Disney with Virgin Atllantic early in the morning. Then we have a free day--we usually spend the morning in Epcot and have lunch there. Then we go back to our resort and have a swim/shower/freshen up...

    DCL Transportation

Looks like it all depends how early you want to get on board. We quite liked the leisurely morning at the Boardwalk before the coach trip. No hurry!!

    DCL Transportation

We booked the transport on email with Disney Cruise Line--can`t remember the cost though. We were staying at the Boardwalk--it was all so relaxing ---bags picked up from your hotel room --next time you saw them they were in your cabin. The only downside I would say, is that if you drove to the...

    How do you stay cool?

The aircon inside is always excellent--not like in the UK. So you can always coo ldown in a store/food place. In Epcot Inoventions is good for that and there are loads of things for kids as well as adults to do.
