WDW or DLR for the best Christmas experience?

Well it's not like there is a long history at WOC... The winter dreams show ran 2 years (last year they alternated it with the 60th show). But I feel like season of light was designed to stick around for a while. And I hope it does!

WDW or DLR for the best Christmas experience?

I'm going to guess "Season of Light" Will be around for a few years. But naturally nothing is a guarantee with Disney. Castle to Castle Is pretty equal... They are both decorated to the same extent. WDW is just a massive castle so more inpressive. DL is more charming, and since the castle...

WDW or DLR for the best Christmas experience?

Touchdown... You will love the new World of Color... They end with peace on earth and it is crazy good. I do love the candle light and storytellers at EPCOT as well. I think both castle parks offer great parades and foreworks. I like Disneylands parade better, but I am still bitter from Olaf...

WDW or DLR for the best Christmas experience?

The new frozen show at DCA wins over the frozen ride at EPCOT in my book. But... I'm an adult. Ha.

Changes Coming to Housekeeping Services at Walt Disney World

I wonder if the 3rd party will suggest towel art?

    News New security measures

I'm looking forward to see what Disney can do on both coasts to make the screenings have better flow. It looks so tacky right now on both coasts... But I know (hope) it's only temporary until something more permanent is designed. Even during New Years crowds at WDW the flow was pretty good.

WDW or DLR for the best Christmas experience?

I've done them both. I even did them both this year... And Disneyland is the winner for me. Way more decorations. The new festival at DCA has awesome extra entertainment including festival navidav which is a fantastic parade style street party. The new world of color "season of light" is my...

    Severe Weather Tonight 1/22

First Broadway show was wet seats but it stayed dry. Second broadway show was light crowds and started late because of lightning (they kept the first 3 rows reserved and let other guests fill in under the roof and in the handicap benches... cast at the theatre was awesome and trying to get...

Epcot International Festival of the Arts coming in January 2017

Are they performing identical shows each night? Or changing them up? I'm happy with either, just wondering how to plan! :-)

New single day quick service dining plan test to begin at the Magic Kingdom

I do remember! Cumbia Harbor House had fresh brewed iced tea a bit longer than the others. Would be great to get Joffreys Black tea at Disney World restaurants. At least Starbucks is an option... But with a long line. And the joffreys tea kiosk at DAK.

New single day quick service dining plan test to begin at the Magic Kingdom

Well for me, I don't drink soft drinks and the tea starts as syrup so I would want water anyways. What I will do is get a passion tea from Starbucks, a trenta (30 0z.) is only $4 with tax.

Epcot International Festival of the Arts coming in January 2017

And your point is??? I'm joking! Alberta Bound / off kilter is in a no mans land between countries, so it never seems to clash as much for me. I think the more traditional music is best in the countries for a number of reasons but that's my opinion. If world showcase was more defined, it...

    Passholder Lines

Many times the CM's checking for passes have no idea what a Premier Pass is. It's clear all they have been told is "look for this orange and yellow card." So far I've only used the pass line at EPCOT, it's the only one I've seen a benefit at. Obviously that's just luck of the draw from day to day.

Epcot International Festival of the Arts coming in January 2017

American Music Machine really needs to be at the fountain stage all the time. Since they are doing more modern music. I really don't enjoy hearing them in America, it clashes with the Colonial Theme too much for me.

    What's up with Expedition Everest?

I'm pretty sure if Disney can figure out how to run Cryo in spaceship earth, they can figure out how to do it for Everest. The fog was a major effect for Everest, it totally blocked the visual of seeing the switch inside the tunnel. And Falling backwards into the fog was a really cool...

    What's up with Expedition Everest?

It would also seem likely no alternate fog effects were ever tested. The fog was done with mist, so the condensation could build up on the sensors. (So we've heard). But what about theatrical fog, theatrical haze, co2 fog, etc. These are all created in different ways, and could potentially...

2016 Christmas Week Phase Closing watch

I felt like the FP+ ratio is up. I had a FP for Jingle Cruise on NYE and the FP line was a good 15 minute wait and was moving fast through about half the cue. I felt really sorry for people in standby. Right after fireworks on NYE I jumped into seven dwarves mine train, despite walking all...

    DAK AVATAR land construction progress

Not likely... I can hope. Again they are hiding it from the bus loop itself which is great, but it will still be super visible from the over pass bridge and backstage bus road at DAk. It's obvious that Joe Rhode has never taken a Disney bus to DAK, it looks awful and always has.
