Doing full again...wife doing 1/2 & then she's doing relay...trying to decide if that makes me feel like a whimp...

I'll check a change of shirt like I did last year...felt much better at least changing that...

Remember the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon is October 1st, many come in days or a week before in that late Sept. window & both the 1/2 & relay are sold out.

I wasn't sure what to expect when we hit it last year when we were there for the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon...and it was great...we did not have kids, and plenty of adults with & without kids in costume just having a blast...the parade I think is now my fav....& the fireworks are completely...

5 mile race...23rd place...25 seconds faster than last year so I'll take it...post race raffle won an acoustic guitar and 2-free lessons...:ROFLOL: Guess I got my race fee worth!

Why they rolled out 'RUN Disney' as a brand at the same time they cut a check to walkmaster Galloway is beyond me...wish they'd put their appearance money into bringing Rodgers back or the others they used to bring in to inspire (just saw Rodgers at the Cherry Blossom 10miler this month, now...

Took a pass on 2011 with plan of returning for 2012 marathon...we'll see what kind of registration pricing games they play to see if they are the same that have me on the fence for W&D... That being said, plan is I'm doing marathon with DW doing 1/2 & a leg of the new relay...time to start...
