what was the best WDW guest meltdown you've observed

That was my nephew Scotty. LOL He did so many things but nothing illegal, just stupid things like when he went to the river to find turtles and fell down the levee shattering his leg but refused to tell the life flight guys his name because he did not want his mom to find out he was at the...

what was the best WDW guest meltdown you've observed

I'm not proud of it, but I also don't want to act like I have never had a meltdown. Like I said, I thought my nephew Scotty was a handful when I took him when he was 7 and 9(along with his brother, his sister and my own son) and Scotty is the one that we still tease about him being on TV(he...

what was the best WDW guest meltdown you've observed

Ok, hideous Aunt story here. Me. I have been taking my son and my nieces and nephews to Disneyland for 20yrs. All ages, even my dearest monster nephew Scotty(now 27) who could test the patience of Job and never once in all of those visits(including the one with just me and 4 kids under 10 for...

How bad is Port Orleans Riverside?

Wow, I have not read any bad reviews of POR on this site(don't bother with trip advisor as so many people complain over little things that are not even an issue) and we are booked there for 7 days in May for our first ever WDW trip. We have a Royal room booked.

UPS or USPS for Magic Bands?

Glad to make you smile! He also has numerous stories of people tracking him down for their mail when he was not their mail carrier. Sometimes these people did not even live in the town he was in but assumed that the Mail Man was like Santa Claus, there is ONLY ONE! LOL How perfectly silly...

UPS or USPS for Magic Bands?

My mailman hates me..... Well not me specifically, just my 85yr old house with a door slot. LOL He always has to knock if there is a package(which seems kind of silly because it takes me all of 10secs to get to my door) and has often taken it back to the postal office stating I was not home...

New MagicBands and Sliders coming soon

I am wondering since I am not seeing Steamboat and Grumpy on the Disney store website, but I am seeing them in the app, does anyone know if those two are being phased out and should I order them now to make sure I get them? TIA

    A purple MagicBand coming soon?

Exactly. LOL Maybe they have a glut of grey bands and are trying to move them? LOL

    A purple MagicBand coming soon?

I notice the luggage tags are color corrdinated and that is not a win for us as my husband and 17yr old son chose red and they are not thrilled with Minnie Mouse luggage tags. LOL

Do you need a package to get FP+ 60 days out?

Complete rookie at booking(always have booked through Costco for DLR, first trip to WDW coming in May) but what is the advantage to booking room only and then tickets separately? I booked our trips(2 next year) through a TA as a package but was wondering what the benefit to separate bookings is?

FP+ at HS with Jedi Training

Does Jedi Training work differently in WDW than in DLR? I only ask because in 2008 we took our family to DLR and Ri wanted to do Jedi Training but it is simply the kids getting chosen out of the crowd by the CMs. Luckily he got chosen and had a great time. He's a little too old to do it now...

    Shoplifting

This I understand for a different reason. We were in Monterey for the MotoGP in 2008. Huge race, lots of vendors of all sorts and one of them were selling rider bracelets($80-300 bracelets, not cheap). We were all looking at the bracelets and one of the saleman noticed that my niece was...

    Shoplifting

Sorry, I don't agree. I have a 17yr old son and a 26yr old son and maturity has nothing to do with thievery unless the child is 3yrs old and snaggin' a piece of candy off a shelf without knowing they need to pay for it. I will not excuse maturity in a teen for breaking the law. That is what...

last week in april or first week of may 2016?

We are booked for POR from 5/3-5/10/16 for our first trip. From what I am seeing, early May should not be too busy according to crowd calendars on several sites. Hope that is right!

    Late check-out?

Me too! With my migraines, even after 20yrs I cannot predict or prevent and thankfully that one was on the last day and not the first or the middle.

    Late check-out?

We were given a 3pm checkout at the GC in DLR in 2013 because I had a severe migraine and ended up having a doctor come to the room and our flight was not until 6 and they were gracious enough to give us a later that usual late checkout(1pm is the norm if granted) with no added charge but that...
