The Haunted Mansion's Hat Box Ghost...?

Always mixed opinions, but where else can you discuss such a rich history and legacy. No one talks this way about Six Flags, Sea World or Universal. Long live Disney, even if they make us scratch our heads sometimes.

    Pofq

I agree with everyone! POFQ was wonderful, "small", quiet and easy to get around. Water taxi is a great alt option and buses are the first if not the only bus stop, so that was a big plus to us. Only reason we aren't staying there is because we wanted to stay at a different resort. I know you...

How much does the parkhopper option cost?

We decided the same thing. DD and I have done hopper on all our previous trips, but this time I decided to skip it. In the past we have used it quite a bit (or at least a little bit), usually to hit the nighttime show at another park or hit a dinner reservation. We'll be there 7 full days, so...

Where can you find the Aladdin characters at WDW?

In MK we saw Jafar across from the Winnie the Pooh ride, but that's been a few years when they had the Character Fair or something like that. Queen of Hearts and Prince John were there too. However that was in 2001 I think. We saw Aladdin at Cinderella castle during the Princess breakfast...

    December Candlelight Processional questions

We were able to attend a couple years ago and used the dining package in conjunction with the show. That is the way to go as we were given a voucher/sticker to ensure our seats. The narrator, John O'Hurley was ours and was wonderful, reads the Christmas story and the chorus and orchestra...

    2009 Dining Plan Change

Love the possibility of another dining option. We have done the dining plan in the past w/the sit down meals, but it's just too much planning and too much food if you have kids and are on the go. It's a great option to prepay for your meals and not worry about it.

    Pop Vs POFQ re: money

We have stayed at both. We had 3 in our room and were happy with the extra space given at POFQ rooms. Also due to the resort being smaller, you can walk front to back quickly. Even though you share a bus w/POR, FQ gets picked up first so we always had seats. Something to consider especially...

Check out my Disney's California Adventure video!

Good video. Last time we were in SoCal, DCA was still being built. I remember driving through the parking lots then being shuttled back to DL. At that time I recall seeing California Screamin rising above the construction walls and thinking, what is Disney doing! My wife loves coasters so...

    Nemo Touring Tips?

We'll be going March 16-20, the Sunday-Thurs before Easter, so I'm guessing each day will see an increase in crowds. We've been to WDW at Christmas so we can handle to crowds. We'll be staying at DL Hotel. How does the monorail from the hotel work? I know you board at DD, but where do you...

    Nemo Touring Tips?

Any touring tips on getting a sub ride w/o waiting 2 hrs in line? Have the crowds died any on the wait and is first thing in the morning still the best chance to ride? How about during parade or Fantasmic? Also, any soft opening info on Toy Story Mania? Any chance we'll see it open in March?

    March Trip Tips Needed

I'm hoping we'll avoid the big push of Spring Break by going early in the week. We've been to WDW at Christmas, so we're used to managing the crowds. Fortunatley we've been to WDW enough that we can skip some of the repeats and we have plenty of days available. Any suggestions on tackling...

    March Trip Tips Needed

My wife, DD and I will be visiting SoCal March 16-29. This will be my 7th DL visit, my wife's 3rd and our DD's 1st. Last visit was in 2000, so haven't been to CA. We are locked into DL Hotel Mar 16-20 (Sun-Thr). We will arrive Sun afternoon. Assuming we aren't too tired, we may take a short...

    Help! Easter 2008

We are planning a trip to SoCal next March. Tentatively we are planning on March 19-29 spending 3 days at the parks. Easter lands on Sunday 3/23/08 (I think). I am thinking about flying in and visiting the parks prior to Easter Thurs-Sat, but am wondering if we would be better off crowd wise...

    Help! Annual Pass Question

I can't seem to find an answer to this question. Can I purchase a Disney World Annual Pass and use it at WDW AND Disneyland? If so, is there a best place to purchase at a discounted price or do AP's have a set rate? Finally is it best to buy an AP voucher as early as possible to avoid higher...

    Snack Discoveries

Just home from the World :(. I know this has been mentioned before, but got a giant pretzel at AK and the cheese dip was .99 addtl. It could be purchased as an additional snack! We decided to cough up the additional money, but, c'mon, what's up w/that?

    new disney vacation planning dvd?

I'm hoping by luck we'll get ours prior to leaving 11/25, but I have a feeling it won't be here yet. I'd love to see Erin again. Really a cutie! The others weren't too bad, either. Luke was a bit over the top, though.

    Big Thunder Mountain Rehab

Big Thunder is just about my favorite ride. In fact my fav roller coaster type ride. I was scared it was going down for a while, but looks like just a day. We are heading down on 11/25 and was worried for a minute. One of the reason we like to go at this time of year is due to little or...

    Trips with extended family?

We will be doing that in a few weeks, kind of... Going w/my sis in law and 2 nephews. While we'll have to accomodate for them somewhat, it shouldn't be too difficult as their only previous trip to WDW wasn't a very complete one. So excited tough, less than 30 days!!!:sohappy:

    Disneyland Tickets

I haven't been to DL in 6 years, so I'm out of the loop on tix. Can someone tell me do they work like WDW tix? In other words, if I buy now, are they good whenever I go in the future or do they expire like some of the DL tix? Also, we haven't been since CA was added. Would you suggest 2 or...
