I don’t think the monorail will be visible. I think it will be concealed in a variety of ways and not just a tunnel. It’s even possible that from some angles tge monorail may have views into the land and yet not be seen by those in the land.

The previous overview has a distinct split with a pair of narrow underpasses. Now knowing the location, I assume this is where the monorail will be artfully concealed.
