Does anyone have a good timeline on the construction of SE? I was having a conversation re: our visit back in 1977 and I was convinced that I saw SE at that time from the MK monorail before EPCOT was open. I've searched online about construction and wonder if that's just something a then 7 year...

it was under refurb when we were there in 2013. I think it opened back up a few days after we left which was such a bummer.

having never gone on Splash Mountain (!!!), I would lean towards HM or BTMR

definitely riding at the front of the Monorail. also, If you Had Wings and playing on the slide after dinner at the Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village

I think the MK is a two day minimum. If I *had* to, I'd pick a second day at the MK over pretty much any other park.

correct, the request would be for the closest non-preferred rooms. I think if we went CBR again we would go with the preferred rooms, but I was just curious mostly about the success rate. Thanks!

I can see CBR being not as special if you're from southern climes. but if you're flying in from snowy New England like we were in 2013, its pretty darn awesome to walk to your first breakfast hearing the steel drum loop.

no Raid. i mean, that's just crazy. If you're serious about keeping the birds away, pick up one of these from Amazon. it's basically an inflatable beach ball with owl/hawk eyes on it and you hang it up to mimic a predator.

have fun! When we were there, we didn't take advantage of the resort events as much as we should have, but we had fun nonetheless.
