Rumor Main Street USA --> Mickey Avenue in the Works?

I doubt this was seriously considered, but if it was, since it hasn't been announced already, it isn't happening for 15 or more years at the very least. It is going to take Disney a long time to recover from the pandemic, and I doubt that even the announced stuff will get completed in the next...

    All things Magic Mountain

After the refurb it had in early 2019, it is much smoother now. I'm not sure what the smoothest seat is, but it usually doesn't have a long line for the front seat, so I would suggest sitting there.

I actually never went on Green Lantern. I knew that I would hate it, and I didn't think it was worth the pain just to be able to say that I rode it.

Theme Park Reopening Guidelines to be released 10/20/20

I know Newsom doesn't know when things can go back to the old normal, but he needs to understand that his whole "you will never have fun again" approach doesn't work. People need some hope and some attainable goals or people won't take him seriously. He doesn't seem to understand how to lead...

Theme Park Reopening Guidelines to be released 10/20/20

I agree, if Newsom wants Californians to stay in California where it is "safer," then he needs to give them more to do. If theme parks were open, not as many people would be looking out of state for something to do. If Newsom cared about keeping people in his state safe from other states, he...

Theme Park Reopening Guidelines to be released 10/20/20

With those guidelines, the parks still wouldn't have been able to open until possibly as late as next summer. I'm sure they would prefer only local guests over no guests under the current guidelines.

Theme Park Reopening Guidelines to be released 10/20/20

Then if Newsom cares so much about that, he can limit people traveling to the resort from far off distances. Like I have mentioned before, nothing is stopping Californians from going to Vegas and bringing COVID back with them. I'm sure Vegas is far more unsafe than Disneyland would be...

Theme Park Reopening Guidelines to be released 10/20/20

The fact that parks are somehow "safe" without rides operating proves how dumb the guidelines are. Ride might be more safe that shopping and dining, since it would be easier to separate people and they won't remove their mask to eat on a ride.

Rumor Avengers E-Ticket More Dead Than You'd Think

DCA has so few good rides that it desperately does need another solid E-Ticket. I guess at this point it means that it won't get one for at least another 10 years at the rate that Disney does things. They were already slow enough at building rides pre pandemic.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

The 5th key was announced right before the layoffs, so people have probably completely forgotten about that PR stunt by now. Inclusion means adding more diverse stuff, not changing the only attraction that represents African folklore with yet another attraction representing a European fairy tale.

Theme Park Reopening Guidelines to be released 10/20/20

I'm very on the left politically and I feel like Newsom is a bad parody of what people think liberals are. I know the federal response has been nothing short of a disaster, but Newsom has failed in being consistent and fair in reopening stuff.

    All things Magic Mountain

Gold Rusher and Revolution are great night rides. If someone has just rode those during the day, they haven't come close to experiencing them at their best.

    All things Magic Mountain

I actually like Scream, but maybe the restraints just fit me in a way that the ride isn't painful for me. I did ride in the back once and it was pretty unpleasant. I usually ride in the front since there is never much of a line for the front row with how the queue is laid out. It is pretty...

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

The one area of entertainment that Disney has yet to conquer is video games. It is like they just don't understand the industry. If they knew the industry better they probably wouldn't have given Star Wars rights to EA.

    All things Magic Mountain

I'm well experienced in coasters, the only other one that is currently at Magic Mountain that I only rode once was Riddler's Revenge because I think stand-ups are excruciatingly uncomfortable. Riddler's Revenge is one of the coolest looking coasters out there, but my ride on it was horrible...

Reopening Rally to Be Held Outside Disneyland on Saturday, October 17th

I think this protest would have been more successful if it focused more on the economical impacts of Disneyland being closed. Most people are going to just laugh off the people using quotes from Disney movies to justify opening the parks.

    All things Magic Mountain

Several times, I have thought about giving it another try in a different seat, but I'm like "there are a ton of rides I like here, so I rather not get a headache again when I could ride those other rides instead." I rode an outside seat when I did ride it and have heard that inside seats are...

    All things Magic Mountain

I'm not a huge fan of the shin guards on Full Throttle, but they don't bother me that much. It is better than having the hangtime limited with OTSRs. The one time I rode X2, it was horrible and my head slammed against the back of the seat several times and it made me never want to ride it...

    All things Magic Mountain

One of the great things about Full Throttle is that it doesn't have OTSRs and it is so much more intense than The Incredicoaster. Incredicoaster would be greatly improved by not having OTSRs.

    All things Magic Mountain

Full Throttle is pretty great, but it feels like it ends a little too soon. It is definitely a lot more of a complete experience for a launch coaster than something like Xcelerator at Knott's is.
