I believe they hold the annual pin trading gathering that takes place in early September there. If you are there usually around Sept 10 and feel like paying the admission charge it sounds like a really fun event!

Since the Disney Store in Manhattan is actually now a World Of Disney, it does sell a small selection of the same pins that can be purchased in the parks. We just picked up the limited edition WDW July 4th pin there a few weeks ago.
