Great comment. I have to admit the first time we rode it after the re-skin I was genuinely confused - there is too little connection between the design time you spend at the beginning and any tangible result during the ride. We had one of those - ‘ wait - that’s it?!’ moments. Lol.

I sometimes think our moderator will post a very minor item like this just to watch the wave of anger spread like wildfire.

I agree with your comment - in park breakfast offerings are pretty slim and more would be welcome. And for DHS specifically - counter service choices generally are far fewer and less interesting than the other three parks.

I found the April 7 analysis on Liftblog.com to be very informative in providing perspective on the scale of the Disney installation. Great read - and the post makes great use of photos from bioreconstruct.

Agreed - I love the international gate. Convenient to WS, as well as the Flower and Garden and Food and Wine stations in the middle of the park.

Actually the article says they shut it down because maintenance costs were too much for the zoo. I supposed that’s interrelated - can’t afford maintenance = cars breaking down.

Bronx zoo had one - shut it down after it stranded a group in 2008 - I just checked 🙂

Well said. There is always going to be a need to balance costs against custom theming. I imagine some of the same critics here populate the forum with comments that Disney is too expensive. The Disney powerline is not much of an argument - there is exactly one of these in a prominent spot...
