I would love that idea but the Pixar Place Hotel lies directly across the street from Goofy's. There would need to be some creative maneuvering to make that work. It seems easier to just use the bridge they originally showed in the concept behind Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

The attraction, including its facade, is tucked behind the original pavilion. There is this archway off to the side of the pavilion that draws you around the corner to the new area.

As long as it's executed better than Little Mermaid I'm sold. In fact I was hoping they'd replace it with Coco but I suppose it's still too new to be eyed for replacement. And it is a great people eater.

True. But the rest of the park's western edge is consumed by the Grand Californian. And then the Paradise Gardens section is lined up with the PPH. Realisticly this area is pretty much the only place they could built a crossing to the expansion without tearing down anything major. Who knows...

Either way this might be the project I'm most excited for. 🤩 They set expectations pretty high by comparing this to Pirates and Haunted Mansion before they've even broken ground... if they can deliver, this could be one of the best attractions at DCA and an attraction like this is so badly...

The only evidence being presented to support it looking identical, as you say, is the coaster existing on the left side and a circular planter. The coaster looks like that from nearly every angle & location you can see it from. But additionally the real coaster in that spot by the wooden parade...

Personally I think the archway facade is likely to be in a different spot that's currently backstage. Moreso like this mockup by Hey Brickey. I do think the parade gate will still be used to access the new area but I think the concept art is back farther like in this drawing.

Disney said that the attraction is being built in "areas that are predominantly backstage today". We don't know exactly where the concept art with the archway facade is. Many folks speculated that it's where the wooden parade gate exists today. I disagree and think the concept art is showing...

I think his second theory is probably correct. I think that concept art is showing a space currently backstage behind the coaster, not the parade gate location.

This is the most valid point here as WDI has built family boat rides themed to children's IPs *this decade* with both forward and backward drops. I know they are sort of clones of the Maelstrom ride layout (for better or for worse), but there was clearly a decision to *not* remove the drops.
