Trip Report My Tower of Terror-ific Birthday Trip

Just finished reading your report which I thoroughly enjoyed. It must have been difficult without the kids as my wife and I have experienced this previously - you always want to share the happy moments with them! At least you had the time to move at your own pace and do the things you enjoy...

Trip Report The Fairytale & Dream Come True-May 2013 DFTW/Honeymoon TR

I've only just got around to reading your report and it was one of the most enjoyable I've read on these boards. Thanks for some great pictures and commentary plus congratulations on your marriage.

    One Ride

This is difficult, it could be ToT, Soarin, Dinosaur or Space Mountain. I'd probably pick Soarin for the flying/gliding sensation you feel when riding it and in particular while travelling over the lake - I can't think of any other ride that provides such a feeling.

Whoooo! I Ain't Scared Of No Ghost...

My family and I attended our first party last Friday and it was excellent. The trick or treat candy collection was mad but fantastic. We visited every location and filled our backs quickly. The candy lines were quite long at times but these moved very quickly and it was all part of the fun...

    In 2 weeks..

We leave tomorrow morning and like you I was thinking the final 2 weeks will drag but trust me they will fly by. The only trouble is that if the last 2 weeks have flown by how quick will 2 weeks in Disney go!!!! Actually it's quite depressing to think that as I return home you will be arriving :(

My Number 1 Tip At AK.

Ignore the advice that you must head for the Kilamanjaro Safari first thing in the morning. We've been early morning and at midday when it's supposedly too hot for the animals - we saw more animals at midday (and when it rained during the afternoon!)

My Number 1 Tip For Mk.

Take a breather and hop over to Tom Sawyer Island where you can explore the Fort and get away from the crowds for a short while

My Number 1 Tip For Epcot.

When you walk into the China Pavillion stand in the middle of the mosaic floor just inside the entrance. When you stand on the actual centre point say something (anything) and you will hear your words / voice repeated back as pure echo! We try it every visit and it's both weird and amazing.

14 Year Wait and only 71 days to go now PTR

If you can you should try and visit one of the WDW Waterparks (Typhoon Lagoon is my favourite!) I've been to Aquatica (Sea World Water Park) and in my view it's nowhere near as good as TL or BB. Trust me on this, you won't regret going to TL or BB

    Proposal ideas

My daughter was proposed to in the centre hub facing Cinderella's Castle last May. My wife, son & I were all present and it was a magical moment - just as Wishes started! They got married at Easter this year and Wishes was their choice of song for their first dance For all of us the time...

Thomas Cook flying into MCO in 2014..

We have done both and there are big differences. Sandford felt like a sleepy UK Regional Airport as there wasn't a great deal to do and the queues were really short, it was also much more relaxed. I'll never forget boarding the flight as they were closing up all the shops and restaurants...

    Beaches and Cream?

We're planning to visit B&C during our September visit as we're really keen to try the 'Kitchen Sink'. Can you get this to take out or do you have to eat at the counter or on a table? I'd rather not wait if I don't have to.

    First time September visit

This year will be our first September trip. We will be there from Aug 31st to 13th Sept and I'm keen to know what to expect. Most comments on this forum are from people who have travelled mid to late Sept so I'd appreciate any feedback on early Sept. I'm hoping wait times will be low (maybe...
