I went on HMH for the first time on Friday. I loved it. I was never on the regular HM at DL but compared to WDW they change just about everything in the ride.

I liked Carnation Cafe in DL park. It was a nice quick and inexpensive sit down resturant on Main street. Napa Rose was probably the best resturant that we ate at.

I doubt that you can see the fireworks from the resturant. We did watch fireworks from the hot tub at WL one time though. It is right outside of the resturant. Narcoossee's has a good view of the MK fireworks. It is from the dock level.

Make sure you go between Thursday and Monday so you can meet the characters. I like the trend shirts that they sell. If you like the mets or yankees they have a little section for each team. Mickey for the Yankees and Pluto for the Mets.

Animal Kingdom Lodge savanah view, then Poly and then Contemporary tower.

The bus from Contemporary to DTD takes forever. It also stops at Poly. You will probably be better off taking a bus to a hotel that is close to DTD like old key west.
