I don't get why they just don't make WDW G+ exactly like DL sans photopass. It works so much better in DL. No crazy times to deal with. If you're in the park you can use. If you're not, you can't. Why make it harder than it needs to be?

I doubt they would ever do it. However I can see them raising room rates to pay it and making non resort guests tap to pay to ride. You want your "free" ride you gotta be staying on property. No more of the free loading local APs. What do you guys think Disney is, a charity?

And yet we're still going and a lot of the seasonal after hours events have sold out. So good luck stopping that train. Plus everytime we complain about something we don't like we say we won't go but hey guess what we still go no matter how screwed we get.

Cut off the supply. Increase the demand. Increase the rates. Park ticket rates going up even more so. Every day will eventually turn into an after hours event. There is nothing stopping them from doing this.
