My wife doesn't walk very well, so we try to book close to the elevators on every cruise to save steps. So far, we have managed it on almost every ship we have ever been on. We have never been bothered by elevator noise. It's the people in the hallways who make the greatest amount of noise.

Can you tell us how you know this? We will be taking our Granddaughter in October. She is a budding gymnast who just won All-around in her state for her level and would like to be able to tell her there might be a future in gymnastics if she wants to pursue it.

It doesn't seem to me that this needs to be a method to reduce traffic congestion. I see it as a convenience for guests by not having to wait half-an-hour for a bus. As mentioned above, this could reduce traffic by people using these vehicles instead of their own. Also, if they would have...

If this will save me and my party having to wait for busses and the crowds associated with them and get me to the parks or other hotels more easily and quickly, then I am all for it. This looks to me like the horizontal elevator solution that they looked at a few years ago.
