Just for some context here, signing autographs are fairly difficult. A lot of characters don't really have the dexterity or visibility to do a passable job while making it look like their eyes are pointing at the autograph book. Could you sign your name in a book while holding said book above...

The wood furniture looks great. But the columns and walls look artificial. The Walt photo is outstanding.

I guess part of the point here is whether or not they go for a realistic space or a fanciful one. I'd prefer the latter.

So I imagine this means that before all the anniversary brouhaha they had no plans to work on even the current attractions.

Ah, I see your point. I would hope that there is a middle ground somewhere; perhaps using the original alien bot. But S.I.R. needs to return regardless of the implementation.

They could easily bring back AE with two alterations: change the alien's motif from scary to "goofy gross" (turn up the sprinklers) and reshoot the videos with a different actor playing the chairman.

Is it possible that they can intentionally delay a project to spread the effect of its budget across multiple years?

You'll note Chandu's appearance in my list. I left the (newly) beardless wonder off because they adapted an existing external IP. Although I don't know if that's fair because Elsa could easily be on that list but her IP was, similarly, adapted from an existing, external IP.

And yet they can be so good at creating IP when they want: Figment, Dreamfinder, Henry Mystic, Albert, Chandu, those freaking Duffy Bears, The Ghost Host, The Auctioneer, Old Bill, the blinking octopus from Horizons, the Yeti (from Disneyland) and so many others not to even mention Disney TV and...

In the concept art, there is a droid that is serving a beverage to a guest at a bar. And while I can't wait to see how Disney plusses this part of the experience, I'm wondering if there would be a problem having a Disney character serve alcohol. I certainly hope we get the droid...
