    52 in 52 week 40 the 2000!

Yes I have reached 2000! Ok not that exciting. Why? There was nothing much to choose from this year. I had to go to Touchstone..and even there I was not overwhelmed. I decided to go with a touchstone/Spyglass production Shang Hi Noon. The reason is..it is a very Disney like film. Comedy, action...

    52 in 52 week 39

Week 39 brings me to 1999. The second week in a row I have to choose between two popular animated movies. This week it is between Toy Story 2 and Tarzan! I decided to not go with Toy Story 2 (which I would give 4 1/2 out of 5 Mickeys). Not as good of a story as the original, a little choppy...

It is still a very good movie. I just felt it dragged. Like I noted before it just may be the time and place of life for me. I do not remember being irratated by Atta last time. This time she did. To expand on time and place. Ratatouille, everybody loves. I had major problems with it. I come...

I am a big fan of Mulan. Yes, the ending does feel rushed. It is being shown a lot on TV, that is why I kind of avoided it. Wanted to note...there is a couple good songs on Mulan and the score is great, and I think it helps the movie.

52 in 52 brings us to 1998. Two very good animated movies came to the theatres that year: Mulan A Bugs Life It is a real tough choice, butI decided to go with A Bugs Life. For the only reason that Mulan has been shown on ABC Family a lot lately. A Bugs Life, I have not seen in years. A Bugs Life...

37 weeks in, I hope people are out there reading these and enjoying some if not all. Week 37 brings us to 1997. This was a tough year for Disney movie choices. There was: Hercules..I think that comes across as aSaturday morning cartoon so..no Then there were a bunch of family comedys that I...

    52 in 52 week 36

Week 36 in 1996 I had three movies that slightly perked my interest. I do mean slightly. There was not much here this year in my opinion. I turned down 101 Dalmations, maybe a bad choice. Muppet Treasure Island, in all honesty, I watched this on TV earlier in the year. Bettter than I thought it...

    52 in 52 week 35

Week 35 brings us to 1995!! There was only two options, and that, I went back and forth on. I turned down Pochahontas. I really liked this movie. Not loved. Was thinking about going back and take a look after many many years and see if my feelings on it were the same or not. However, I mean...

Another nonreview (spelled right this time) another EW article

Did not rush "review" this time. http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20622617,00.html Best and worst live action Disney films. Whomever made the list loves nostalgia, some of the choices of these movies are dated, which is not bad, it makes the movies kind of fun. My thoughts: Best: My favorite...

    52 in 52 week 34

Week 34 brings us to 1994! Starting this week I am not going to mention each movie I turned down. The Disney yearly list I use at this point combines straight to video and theatrical releases, that makes the list pretty long. So at this point I will just list movies I considered. There was only...

    Timothy Green

I thought the movie was pretty good, not the best of the year, but worth the cost of my ticket. I was entertained. I not to sure it is a bomb. Yes they would have loved to be pulling in 100 mil. I think it may close out of theatres in the US with about 25-30 million. It opens up in the UK at...

    52 in 52 week 33 with a T Green review

Yes, you really feel this movie, and they never explain how did TG happen, and because the cast is pitch perfect I really did feel I did not need an explanation. Also I watched it thinking "Oh the critics are not going to like this", and it is mostly true (However Roger Ebert loved it, as he is...

    52 in 52 week 33 with a T Green review

52 in 52 brings us to 1993. 1993 was a wonderful year for me. The birth of my son. His first movie in a theatre was Toy Story. Two plus years old, worried he would make a fuss, but he stayed glued to the movie all the way through. Hard to believe tomorrow we take him to his second year at...

Thanks. It is great to hear feedback. I think next week will be a little bit of a challenge with an "adult" movie, throwing in a T Green review also (which is an adult like movie). Still it is nice to throw in a curveball within the 52 weeks. Thanks again.

1992 is here!! I turned down: Honey I Blew Up The Kids (not a good sequel) Muppet Christmas Carol (Love It. If it was the season, yes. By the way, anyone notice in recent releases of this they cut out "When Love Is Gone" scene? Which never really fit.) The Mighty Ducks This left me with two...

Disney & Tour Groups - Tighter Policies and Technology; An Open Discussion

Answer to that in all honesty, in the summer, you really cannot. That is being honest. If they want to go at that time you give tips like: You have to get to parks early..only a few groups get there for the opening..that gives you about an hour and a half before you cannot get near the most of...

Disney & Tour Groups - Tighter Policies and Technology; An Open Discussion

It all sounds like great ideas. However you just cannot treat people different than other people. I was there about the same time you were there and saw an Asian tour group who were all girls, and very sweet. I was helping them while in line figure out change and value. They do not deserve to be...
