Chicago Bears March to the Superbowl (Again)!

 I don't know, Brian. What did you set out to accomplish?

Are you ready for some Football?....:):)

Rex: what a disappointment. I, for one, am not happy that he failed. He's a human being, and he no doubt tried his best. He's got talent. His problems might be more mental (ah, yes, the "mental midget" comment springs to mind). It's pretty sick to cheer for someone to be hurt just because...

    Happy songs

Banjos... {{{shudder}}} ...makes me think of "Deliverance." You have a sick idea of happy, fishy!

    Happy songs

While at the gym today I heard "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." That made me smile for a couple reasons. It's a finger-snappin' tune.

Are you ready for some Football?....:):)

Drew Brees has thrown more interceptions than Rex Grossman. I don't know whether to  or .

    Happy songs

Bolded my faves. I'm with you on "Swing Down Sweet Chariot." "Rock me, Lord, rock me, Lord, calm and easy, well, I've got a home on the other side..." Another great non-traditional gospel song is "Shadrack" by Louis Prima. Actually, it's Old Testament, but whatever. :)

Eagles uniforms today. What the--? Those are some ugly outfits. Coolest-looking unis in the NFL: Chargers, Bears and Raiders.

    Farewell, Marcel Marceau

Shouldn't this be a "silent thread"?

    Happy songs

Dude. "Time to Change" does not make me happy. "Sunshine Day" makes me want to kill something. But since we're on the subject of fake TV bands, I do like the Monkees! They had lots of good tunes.

    Happy songs

Those hot beach babes make me happy! I love your Elvis lists. The only problem is that "Do the Clam" will now be in my head for months. Ah, well, it's better than most of the stuff rattling around up there.

    Happy songs

To balance out the depressing songs, I thought I'd start a thread for happy songs. :) Here are some songs that make me smile: I Think I Love You by The Partridge Family So Happy Together by The Turtles When You're Smiling by Louis Prima Ring-A-Ding Ding by Frank Sinatra Zing! Went...

    ever regret a ride

Living With The Land. I regret it every time I go on that stinking ride. It shouldn't even be called a ride. Or an attraction. It's like biology class, but without the thrills and excitement. :)

    ...sooo embarressed!

I'm curious as to what other students said they wanted to do. Regardless, I think the people who know exactly what they want to do in life are the happiest. If you do what you love, then it's never work. :)

    Most depressing songs

I thought of another one. It's not depressing, but it's such a sweet song that it always makes me cry. "Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.

Chicago Bears March to the Superbowl (Again)!

Tank Johnson to the Cowboys. Good thing it's hard to find guns and drive-thru liquor stores in Dallas.

Chicago Bears March to the Superbowl (Again)!

Your Pats look invincible this year, Brian. Once again, my Bears look to be only two-thirds of a team -- arguably the best defense and special teams (Devin Hester!), but, alas, we still have Rex. When does Drew Brees become a free agent? :lookaroun

    K-Ville!

The kids couldn't do worse than the people who are running things in New Orleans.

    Most depressing songs

I'll try to track it down. Did you have on your list "My Boy"? That's another good Elvis tune. God, I love Elvis. I'm listening to "If I Can Dream" right now. :king:

 Indeed. Especially when you think about what happened to that poor boy. It's a beautiful song. Doesn't it actually have a positive message? I suppose I could look up the lyrics, but I'm too lazy to do that right now. I'm with you on Feed the Birds, but Puff the...
