DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

It sort of makes sense that these signs are up, but none yet on Energy. The Chinese Theater is smack dab in the middle of the park. Energy is off to the side, down some pathways. The sandwich board can suffice, at least for now.

WDW Food Pictures Of The Day Part II

That does look really good, but my go-to at Cookes is the Battered Chicken Tenders. Some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. :hungry:

MuppetVision closed until August 2nd for unexpected Maintenance

Indubitably! Sidenote: In the movie, it's actually "dociousaliexpilisticfragicalirupes". Sidenote 2: How did this go almost 7 hours without an answer to your question?!? I am disappointed in my fellow WDWMagicians.

Ferry From POR To DS: Which Dock?

Generally speaking, yes. It all comes down to timing. If you happen to dock at the Marketplace just before a internal taxi shows up, you might save some time. Though if there's a line for the internal taxi, you'll have to go to the back of it. That said, once you are on the internal taxi...

Ferry From POR To DS: Which Dock?

There's also an internal water taxi that circles from the Marketplace -> West Side -> The Landing -> Marketplace. (At least I think that's the direction it goes.)

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

You're points are completely valid (and I agree with them). But just to be fair, the park won't be down to 4 attractions. It will have 4 rides and a handful of shows & exhibits.

    Characters in Flight Tower

As long as you don't mind heights, I'd say it's worth doing at least once. If you pick a day with the right weather conditions, it's an amazing view.

    Snacks You Bring

I always have 2 snacks in my backpack: a pack of crackers, either Austin Peanut Butter & Jelly or Lance Peanut Butter & Honey; and a non-chocolate sweet. For my last trip, I packed a pouch of Snack Factory Apple Sticks. They are delicious, and are actually a healthy snack -- 100% apple...

A day of broken rides at WDW

I think you misunderstood my point. There is a large segment of WC/ECV users that can ride in a regular vehicle without any issue. At the front of the line, they stand up out of their WC/ECV and board the ride vehicle. No delays, no stoppages. At TSMM, because of the stairs, even guests that...

A day of broken rides at WDW

Having experienced the alternative loading at TSMM, I feel confident in saying it is far from a perfect system. Sure, all of the reasons you mention are indeed true. However, if you time it just "right", the wait can be quite long, on top of the wait in the rest of the line. Since there are...

    Walking from SSR to OKW?

I don't think the boats would run early enough for a breakfast ADR? And while I do recall seeing some people walking along the golf cart paths, you're looking at over 1.25 miles from the start of the path at SSR to Olivia's. It would certainly work up quite an appetite. It looks like a taxi...

    Dollar store poncho?

Luckily, we haven't needed the ponchos over the past few trips, but here's what I do. We have two of the bright yellow Disney ponchos that are at least 16 years old (there was a 10-year gap in WDW visits...). I put the two ponchos in a doubled plastic grocery bag, and put that in my backpack...

Should WDW theme parks sell alcohol flavored fudge?

Alcohol-flavored fudge (actual alcohol burned off in cooking process): sure, why not? Alcohol-laced fudge (a la spiked Dole Whip): not my cup of tea, but if Disney handles it like other spiked treats, again, why not? (Side note: a candy maker near me makes Mudslide fudge that is pretty darn tasty.)

My Disney Experience Android App Draining Battery

There was an update about two weeks ago that introduced the constant-GPS bug. There was subsequently an update that was supposed to fix it, but only reduced the amount of battery drain. I gave up waiting and just disabled the location services for the app.

DHS Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

That sounds very similar to a survey I got today asking about the Haunted Mansion.

    Your Favorite Rental Car Company

We've had excellent luck and experience with Alamo. Just got back from a trip at the beginning of May, and I was able to snag a 6-day minivan rental for $197. And just like everyone else has suggested, check frequently. I've even noticed rate fluctuations over the course of the day. We...
