And I couldn't for the life of me understand why they didn't have their decision made when he finished. After Simon's comments to him after he sang, Simon should've been a definitive NO and the decision done. Maybe their not really "discussing" it. It's not adding to the appeal of the show.

I gripe about this every week. Cut that song out and a lot of other crap and we can go back to a 30 minute results show. Like that will ever happen.

But the tattoos do make a difference, unfortunately! Yes, it is a singing contest, but there is so much more that goes into it than just their singing when people vote. They're also voting on personalities, lifestyles, looks, etc. The point I'm trying to make is to cover up the tattoos so...

And, just like Carly Smithson, she'll wear something sleeveless every week. Ok, we get it, your arm is tattooed. Now just cover it up and sing.

Don't like it. Too manipulative. They've already controlled the show (as they always do) to create our favorites for us (Danny, Lil, Michael, Scott). It just seems more over the top this year than past seasons.
