Radiator Springs to DHS is such a let down. Bordering on waste of space too. Can we have a Pixar Place plaza surrounded by "pavilions" for different Pixar movies instead? Monsters Inc and Incredibles...Up..even the Rat. How far off is Hill?

Plus, if ESPN takes a hit the other parts of the company have to pick up the slack. Park investment can lead to growth that counteracts losses in other sectors. Unless, the bean counters think Avatar and Disney Springs will do it. :cautious:

Earlier this year there was a rumor that Disney might be interested in channels dedicated to Star Wars/Marvel...Would more channels help compensate for ESPN losses? Wall Street is spooked, but it seems unreasonable. No one knows what structures the market embraces or the prices consumers are...

I think Iger has one big acquisition left in him. Perhaps one that helps with the perceived long term issues that could affect ESPN. They could make a play for a Cable company, Netflix...or more IP. I'm just an observer...some of you seem to be more qualified in gaging what Disney might do...

How so? Comcast coveted Disney. They failed in their hostile takeover. So they went with Universal instead. Since then, Disney has acquired Pixar, Marvel, and LucasFilm...conservative spending strategies at the Parks and Studio still brings in the big bucks. Not sure how Comcast is better at...
