I need a little comedy this week. I call this one: "Why you don't wait until the last minute for a seat to the fireworks show." Obviously the view wasn't the best, but the garden full of blooming gardenias right in front of our noses was heavenly.

Don't travel to Disney with family, other than my wife. We did go with some friends a couple times, and this is my favorite shot of our friend's daughter watching the dinner show in the Biergarten.

Wow, hard pressed not to post one of the same pictures already done above. So, this one is obscure, and purely for the sake of participation. Wild bird in the food court area.

Lower speed film will give you less grain noise, and longer shutter times for a given aperture setting. Thus, you need to account even more for the vibration with a tripod and hands-free release. My shot above was taken at 0.6sec shutter with no tripod, braced only by holding the camera against...

There's an interesting article over on Slashdot (News for Nerds). http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/06/13/1050257 I thought it was interesting, especially in some of the feedback/comments, to see how one segment of the disillusioned teen/young adult market feels about Disney these days.

Gotta have my Ellen's Energy Nap! LOL When you are really lucky, you can get in half-way through the preshow and not be stuck in the big room for very long before your nap. Then its right off to the ride cars and a nice snooze. On a slow day I threatened to stretch out on one of the empty rows...
