Your reason why someone should get a life ban from WDW

People that have the e-cigs think that the rules shouldn't apply to them and that they should be able to use the things any where they want. Drives me nuts! I am a former smoker, and when I did smoke, I went where I was allowed to and smoked. I don't see what is so hard about that.

Jedi Training Academy to close to reopen later this year as 'Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple'

From the sounds of things, early next year. But no one knows for sure at this point.

    Well that was easy

If you were trying to get A&E or 7DMT, you should have been booking at midnight, not waiting until morning. That being said, I love the new system. I am not a RD person and never will be. So until FP+ I have never used a FP because all of the attractions I would be interested in getting them for...

what was the best WDW guest meltdown you've observed

I completely agree that no one should have asked or expected him to give up his seat. That said, I always offer my seat to women, children, elderly, etc. Its Disney, kids go all day and have a great time. They are tired and cranky at the end of the night. If you can't deal with that, don't go!

Am I totally out of luck?

I have 3 young ones (all under the age of 6) and we plan every dinner and have ADRs 6 months out, so it is not really fair to say that it is not an option. Also, yes, people that plan ahead get better availability. Thats the point.

Jedi Training Academy to close to reopen later this year as 'Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple'

I am not trying to argue. I just really don't understand. But this is also why I try very very hard not to hype anything up to the kids too much. You never know what isn't going to be running or might be broke when you are there.

Jedi Training Academy to close to reopen later this year as 'Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple'

I just don't understand the level of frustration and anger over one attraction. My DS6 wanted to do it as well. We told him it was going to be closed when we went, he was upset for 3 minutes and then moved on. There is so much to do at WDW, I just really don't understand people getting so upset...

    Magical Express Question

That is correct, and would likely be your only option if the luggage tags do not come in time. Hopefully they come in time though, as not having to worry about your luggage is a really nice perk IMO.

Jedi Training Academy to close to reopen later this year as 'Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple'

This is an attraction that is targeted at kids instead of adults, and kids are going to be more excited about the Rebels than the originals, IMO. I know my son loves all things Star Wars, but is definitely more about the Rebels.

    Disney Transportation or my own?

I really like the convenience of the WDW transportation. Is there some waiting, crowding, other issues? Yes. But I am willing to deal with it for the convenience of not having to worry about driving. Also, I like to have a few drinks when I am on vacation, and do not want to have to worry about...

    Disney disappointment

Exactly. Mistakes happen. In my experience, there has never been a time when I politely and calmly reported an issue to a manger that it was not fixed quickly and properly.

    DVC restrictions for 2016

A couple of things to keep in mind: 1. Sales people only make money if you buy from them. They are going to tell you anything they can to get you to buy from them. Take everything they say with a grain of salt. 2. I have read several lawyers talk about this (and please do not take this as...

    Disney disappointment

They were never a guaranteed part of the experience for one. Some housekeepers did them, others didn't. Never affected my stay or my children's either way. Its a towel animal.

    Disney disappointment

Amen. You cannot expect to have the same experience at a value resort that you are going to get in a Grand Villa at a deluxe. It just doesn't work that way. The same is true outside of Disney. If I stay at the FairField Inn, I am not going to get the same treatment and amenities that I get at a...

    Park Wifi

You have to keep in mind though that there are many people for whom this is not an option. I am a manager in the IT department of my company, and even when I am on vacation, I am not THAT on vacation. I always have to be reachable by my team in case of emergency.

    Boardwalk

Love the boardwalk. By far our families favorite resort. Its all personal preference, but I don't see any reason that you should be afraid to at least give it a shot.
