For something really unlikely and left field, would they look at the Main Street theatre idea again? I still think there is a chance of something random and left field being announced not yet mentioned or hinted at here.

It looses its literal (given the force it generates) impact by not being in the middle of the lagoon to the vast majority watching. Caught me out on the camera certainly, turning back to the middle after Glory Glory.

No WW3 barge

The barges were out at half 8 this morning, so reasonable to assume they were out all night.

Was just coming to post the same. Would imagine they'll be brought out later

Hopefully they keep the WW3 barge finale, but it does sound like they might use the barges for the show and change it up. I wonder if the centre barge will play its part? Would be a neat effect seeing a red / white / blue mix coming off from it

Finally got to see this in person tonight on our first full day here, and was thoroughly impressed. The build up from loss to the finale is excellent, and some well crafted / designed effects throughout - and lighting too. The single symphony shell was missing however. A night and day...

They did experiment early on with a tarp on a barge (or maybe a couple) of the earth in a dark navy colour and looked as if it was a from an image of the RoE earth barge actually. It certainly hid the guts of the barges.

Reminds me of 1998 (pre-Asia being open), and a disgruntled guest asking as they came off the Safari why there were no tigers.

Yeah, I have to agree on that. I get it being suspended during the show, but to stop them as early as they are is a bit annoying. But that's also partly personal, as there's nothing I like more than a boat up the road at sunset or when it's dark.
